Musopticon?
And Alucard and Wolverine? It would be THE comic movie. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. 11XHooah
I'm disappointed that they didn't do Venom. He was the best villain IMO. Even though the background story is a bit long, they could have just spanned it over two movies. The original cast says that it won't go for six movies, but they could have been persuaded into doing one more after the third one was created. War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. --John Stewart Mill-- "Victory was for those willing to fight and die. Intellectuals could theorize until they sucked their thumbs right off their hands, but in the real world, power still flowed from the barrel of a gun.....you could send in your bleeding-heart do-gooders, you could hold hands and pray and sing hootenanny songs and invoke the great gods CNN and BBC, but the only way to finally open the roads to the big-eyed babies was to show up with more guns." --Black Hawk Down-- MySpace: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendid=44500195
Oerwinde
They already set up part 3 to be the hob-goblin at the end of part 2. So Id say that would be your vililan Oer? Topher Grace as a villian? LOL, hes like Tobys long lost twin brother! What villian could they have him play? LOL, thats some weird casting! BTW: Of all the villians Spidy has had, Id love them to bring out one from the early 80s (only Spidy fans will probably remember him)... Carrion! That was one of the best 5 or 6 issue stories I saw in Spiderman and would look awsome on screen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They didn't set it up for Hobgoblin, they set it up for Green Goblin 2. Hobgoblin was someone who found a cache of Green Goblin's equipment and used it to rob people. Completely different. As for Topher Grace being a villain, some believe Electro, some believe Venom, but more of an Ultimate Spider-Man version, where Eddie Brock was Peter's childhood friend and a biotech student in college. He's pretty much a mirror image of Peter, only he hasn't grown up with Uncle Ben's guidance, so he's a bit of a bad ass. In Ultimate Spider-Man, Peter and Eddie's parents were scientists working on a regenerative biosuit that could cure cancer. It bonded with the host and repaired its organs and such, but it was put on hold because it took over I reckon it will be a fairly unknown type of villian, I mean they cant use Green Goblin, Vulture, Shocker, Alien-guy-with-fishbowl-head and Doc Ock because they have either been in the new movies or in the new games.. Im hoping theyll use that symbiote-guy (forgot his name-need to play more spiderman), he was cool <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mysterio wasn't an alien. He was a visual effects artist. And they can use Vulture, Shocker, Mysterio, and Green Goblin because either they haven't been used in the movies before, or its been set up in the story. It doesn't matter if they've been in the games or not. And Harry was GG in the comics after his dad died, so they can do that too. 11XHooah
Yeah, but it has already been confirmed that Sandman will be the main villain in Spiderman 3. But I bet that the Green Goblin will have a part in the next movie as well. I wonder what will happen with Mary Jane. Do you think she'll break up with him because she can't handle him being Spiderman? War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. Its really annoying, because Kirsten Dunst is a terrible Mary Jane, but would have been a perfect Gwen Stacy. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity. EnderAndrew
They've already deviated from the original SpiderMan cannon, though comic book cannon gets rewritten all the time in the comics. Sam Raimi said originally that Sony told him to end everything with 3. There is a new rumor that Sony wants to do as many as 6 movies. I wouldn't be shocked if MJ dies however, as Kirsten Dunst has said she doesn't want to do to many sequels. On the press junket for 2 she said that they should do something original and kill off Spiderman and be done with it. Sam Raimi also said that he doesn't pick a villian to pick a villian. He decides what he wants the film to be about, and once he knows the journey that Peter Parker has to go through, he chooses the villian that best fits said journey. He also outright said that he isn't necessarily going to do the obvious thing and have Harry follow in his father's footsteps? Maybe knowing that his father was a murderer will alllow Harry to forgive Peter?
Diogo Ribeiro
Its really annoying, because Kirsten Dunst is a terrible Mary Jane, but would have been a perfect Gwen Stacy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree. I'm sure Dunst would be much better suited to play Stacy, as she seems to have the right kind of personality and demeanor. She doesn't have the "hot, busty supermodel" look of MJ, anyway. EnderAndrew
I don't picture Anna Paquin as Rogue either, but she works as the way Rogue has been reinvented for the X-Men movies. I feel the same way about MJ. MJ is attractive enough, and yet at the same time, the girl next door in the movies. Her character has been reinvented for what Peter is going through in the first movie.
