Sinbreaker
Just curious - I just finished sparring a second time with the Handmaiden, and have finished all conversation loops that are available to me up to that point with her. Only problem is, I cannot convince her to become a Jedi because I need a bit more influence with her, and the only way I can do so is by sparring again. Is the third sparr triggered by a visit to another world or by levels of experience?

SteveThaiBinh
You don't get that third fight until you reach a certain level. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Level 18, I think (correct me if I'm wrong). Make sure you save before you fight her for the third time, because there's a notorious bug here. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." w666tvr
The first match as soon as you get her by herself aboard the Hawk (w00t), the second at level 15 and the third at level 18. And if by bug, you mean the bit where you can be left roaming the corridors of the Telos Academy after Atris' cutscene, then there is a fix at the TSL Restoration Project from this thread here. "We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo. Sinbreaker
If I am able to train her as a Jedi before sparring with her the third time, that won't cause any bugs will it? Or are you only able to have enough influence to train her as a Jedi after you sparr the third time?
SteveThaiBinh
I think the training as a Jedi dialogue is triggered by the third fight, and you can't do it before, no matter what your influence level is. The bug doesn't hit everyone and it doesn't hit all the time, but it's there. Still, if the fix mentioned above works, then no problem. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." Can't Think Of A Name
You just have to finish Telos and two other planets - each time you finish a planet, you can spar with her again. The last time I played, I hit Telos, Korriban and Onderon [the first part] and she was a Jedi before the big mercenary invasion on Dantooine. It's nice to get her as a Jedi quickly for the second half of Onderon and also Nar Shaddaa. Lord Revan was most displeased with your lack of combat skill. -Something I wish they'd put in KOTOR
w666tvr
Finishing planets definitely isn't the trigger for Handmaiden sparring matches. Last game I fought Handmaiden for: The first time in flight between Telos and Dantooine (1st planet). The second time after finishing Dantooine (level 15) (I don't return to the Hawk until I have a lightsaber, so I can get Visas's). The third time is the clincher, between defeating the Red Eclipse on Nar Shadda (2nd planet), and leaving the Hawk to meet Visquis in the Jek Jek Tar (level 18). So the 2nd planet was definitely incomplete when I made Handmaiden a Jedi. It may look like it is planet-related, because each planet (in the early stages at least) is good for at least three levels and you should have left Telos at level 12 (without any cheating)...
