Diogo Ribeiro
D&D bums are among the worst. They live in their horrible little basement/attic rooms among "kewl" airbrushed posters of dragons and dice sets, spending their time reading books from the most whored of all pulp genres when they are not engaged in playing their horrid little backwards-striving excuse of an RPG <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tell us how you REALLY feel. Diogo Ribeiro
Yes but imagine a whole generation of boys growing up, pleasuring themselves to hentai, how will they cope when they encounter real women? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They'll ask them to cosplay and will end the night bondaging them and trying to simulate tentacles with fire hoses. Rosbjerg
How can I be the only one who voted for trekkers? I mean, people who obsess over whether or not the green snoutnosed alien in episode 226 was anatomically correct.. when they're referring to a science fiction TV-series where beaming (teleporting) people around is ok. Also, they actually take their time to learn a whole new nonsense language, just to look cool among their little clique of nerds! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> oh I'm with you there! Sci-fi nerds are the worst .. since they actually think they can explain their object of obsession with real science! Fortune favors the bald. Darth Flatus
Trekkies are commercially the most tragic nerds, as in everyone knows what they are and hates them. But D&D are the ones to watch out for.

Laozi
For me it is a toss up. I have two housemates, ones a trekkie, the other a huge Harry Potter fan. Me, I'm a Star Wars/LOTR fan so I'm beyond their reproach. The Harry Potter fan is 22yrs. old and just last Halloween went as Potter, scar and everything. Worse I've heard him say atleast once that in a 100 yrs. Harry Potter and not the LOTR will be what people are interested in. Usually once a week he watches one of those movies and my other housemate swears once he came in at night and saw him crying during one. If there's one thing that has worked out in his favor he has a hot girlfriend whom he met at some sort of showing of the movie and they share their collective nerdom in bliss. My other roomate, the Trekkie, is a strange bird as well. Everytime you get in the car with him at somepoint he say in a scottish accent, "I cannot do it Captain, the trilition crystals........" He's always wearing shirts saying something like Starfleet Academy, and spends most of his time insulting Star Wars like it robbed him of his manhood or something. Its strange, since he seems to know way more about Star Wars then any "fan" would, and the new movies seem to be a huge boon for his Trekkie ego. Worse yet, he only knows a few "phrases" in Klingon, and hasn't taken the time to learn the whole language. Its a toss up, but to me the Trekkie wins, just on he default fact that its aimed somewhat towards teenagers and adults People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.

Darth Flatus
Yes kirottu i totally understand which is why i thought that ultimately, HP nerds are not tragic. From personal experience i have found pretending to be a fan of harry potter is useful. The thing about harry poter is that the bandwagon will crash when the films stop. About the manga - just don't tell anyone you are into hentai - althought if you do get a positve reponse please regale us with relevant stories. EDIT:oops mised out the operative word there :">

Kaftan Barlast
You should have just told her you had the flu, dumbass. I stand firm in my hatred of Harry Potter fans. In the collective thing I used to live in we had this girl(not hot, and she had ADHD = spaz ohoy) who was a total HP fan, she had the creepiest circle of friends ever, from 40yearold(definently not hot) ex-poodle rock groupies women to the most nerdy 14yearolds Ive ever seen. They had this secret HP club that had like camps where everyone went and pretended they were at hogwarts... but I think it was just a cover for the pedophilia performed by the elder HP fans upon the younger.
