I am in Telos Station right now and I just dropped 9,000 credits on the Mandalorian Light Armor. Was this worth it or should I save my money? Also if anyone remembers, tell me what items in the game are must buys. Thanks!

I wouldn't bother with it myself, but then again I don't usually buy armor when playing KOTOR2, unless it's really sweet Jedi robes.

I never bother buying armor at all. If anything, I spend my money on crystals and whatever good boosting items or upgrade items I come across.

In kotor 2 i found i didnt have to buy anything at all, all the best stuff was found on various corpses.

Hmm i wonder if there is a random loot generator in real life...

If only I could get Malaks armor lol!

Its soooo hard to get in KOTOR2!!!

I just used robes for my exile and only upgraded my other chars when i needed them, My exile couldn't be beaten anyway so I really didn't need anyones help.

If your LS then you really shouldn't of put your credits into that as they are always poor because they can't do the evil missions to get you lotsa money :o

Want to get lots of money?

How about doing the Mining trick on peragus so you will pick up lot's of good items and sell them.

About buying good items. I never invest many credits in Armor. I invest in:

Blaster rifles:

Charric

Mandalorian Assault Rifle (HK-47 whatever is first)

Blaster Pistols:

Anything heavy sometimes (T3-M4)

Crystals:

Nextor / Velmorite

Opila

Upari

Anything else if low on crystals

Belts:

Tech Specialist Belt

Swords:

Sith Tremor Sword (Mandalore)

Zabrak Vibroblade (Mandalore)

All the others can become Jedi so don't bother buying any other stuff.

I just wished you could only create those "Workbench / Lab Station upgrade items" in stead of buying / finding / receiving them. That would help the game a lot!

O yeah Obsidian, please place a Lab Station in Trayus Academy! It's so depressing to find so many chemicals in the End game.

Master Vandar lives!

Well I renember that this is the problem with K2 and items -> in K1 the best items you could get were those you could buy.

But in K2 money aint worth that much cuz the best items are the ones you find, not the ones you buy. Sux cuz makes credits kinda useless.

Except for ultra-LSers where money helps many times when you gotta pay someones taxes etc. :-

BTW the merchants really suck. They ussually don't have anything better than what you already have in your inventory and the extreme amounts of Load-Game today have been somewhat frustrating (cuz every like 10 tries the loot-generator picks something nice for you).

the best robes i found to suit me were the matukis and my favorite, the gray jedi robes. Master robes seemed hard to get and i didnt like the armor
