GeorgeWSidious Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Guess what!? Update your game!!!! (w00t) EDIT: Sorry I posted this twice
SteveThaiBinh Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Wow, and it's actually true. Who would have thought it? Thanks, Obsidian. And I guess LucasArts as well. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Ohma Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 WHAT?! WHERE!!?? The front page still shows the "Soon" message. (w00t)
LadyCrimson Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I see nothing on Lucasarts site either. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Felix Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Autorun > Update :D Im currently downloading the patch, strange however, no official notice.
GeorgeWSidious Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 Here I was going to spend some time chatting on these forums, but alas, Obsidian changed the course of my day! I'm off to save (or conquer) the galaxy once more! This time I'm gonna try the swoop races. Thanks Obsidian!
SteveThaiBinh Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Mine's just updated. Took about eight minutes. It says it includes high quality movies and music, so I'm just about to go into it and have a look. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
LadyCrimson Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Ah...I see, thanks..I never run those things. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Ohma Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I will be very annoyed if I get home and find out this was a (very MEAN) joke. <_<
Reveilled Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Double-you tee eff? Wow. At last. Thanks! Hawk! Eggplant! AWAKEN!
LadyCrimson Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 It's not a joke - it's there. Took about 1.5 minutes to download (for me), it's patching the files now. :D “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Darth Jebus Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Does it have any missing content or anything? Strange that neither OE or LA made an official announcement or anything.
LadyCrimson Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Don't know not there yet...but I think it's only about 11-12MB download if that says anything. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
GeorgeWSidious Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 I read the readme file, just bug-fixes on this patch. But Aurora is working on a content mod that adds all the stuff we missed in the game, keep an eye out for that!

dabise Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 ROFL. I was about to make a post of how they won and I had lost all interest in the patch... and then much like Wayne Gretzky, OE makes the clutch play and scores the overtime goal (A very extended overtime I might add ) I have a date with the auto updater!
LadyCrimson Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Felix - that link still says 'no updates available' when I go there. - except for that language one which has been there for ages. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
WyvernNZ Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 If you noticed during the updating that the fps used is actually Lucasarts so I guess we have them to thank/blame for the patch and the time it took for them to do it.
Baley Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 If you noticed during the updating that the fps used is actually Lucasarts so I guess we have them to thank/blame for the patch and the time it took for them to do it. They are the publishers " OE sent the patch for QA to them and they released it
LadyCrimson Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I guess they just haven't had time to update their site yet - release it first, update page later. heh it happens. And I was wondering about that Vash/Korriban thing too - since you don't kill her. Probably a typo lol “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
GeorgeWSidious Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 Gotta use your auto-updater to get it for now, until it goes public. Thanks again OE and LA! Can't wait to see what was fixed! I did enjoy this game alot, it's just that it didn't work well with my Radeon 9600xp card. And several bugs made it frustrating. There was also that thing about the *ahem* ending that left me a bit disappointed. I'm just really happy the patch is here.
