Sorry, just heard the news of the men who were featured in the BoB documentary series died since it's release, the following:

Fred T. "Moose" Heyliger

Robert E. "Popeye" Wynn

Lester Hashey

C. Carwood Lipton

John W Martin

Denver "Bull" Randleman

Anyway, these guys were in the Series, talking about their experiences. Just for anyone that's interested, they have passed away since it's release.

I dun know.. we may draw some comparison to these brave men to the heroes we adore in the SW universe.. they faught a greater evil and they never gave up..

and one might also add that the officers of these men had to make decisions like the ones the "exile/general" made.. they had to send troops to places that they probably know is very hostile in order to draw out the enemy.. much like what happened in Malachor V.. and in some cases.. in rare occasions, a weapon is used.. a weapon that could destroy the enemy while hurting your buddies... similar to the MSG..

all in all... a tribute to these men is only fitting.. because unlike the "weak" soldiers/jedi who fell to the DS after seeing the damage/death they caused.. these men hold on to what was dear to them and rebuild a world we are currently enjoying... like I said.. only fitting..

Please! Tell me you are joking! (w00t)

'cause if not, this would be the biggest load of Bantha podo I've ever read.

(Still incredibly funny, though!)

well.. difference in opinion and point of view..

hey its a battlefield.. where ever it is.. could be Normandy or Balitbiton or Adlawan or Basilan.. or any given battlefield.. it could be real or fiction.. but it still has its similarities...

and you're right.. this really doesn't belong here.. but not much good it would unless you could transfer it..

You are right, of course...

While we're at it: Let us remember all the brave Ewoks who fell during the battle of Endor, fighting for a cause they couldn't fully understand! Yo! Bear power, brothers!

Res-pect!

Perhaps you could get Donny Rumsfeld to say a few words on behalf of the furry orphans who have to bear (no pun intended) the consequences of that terrible, terrible tragedy. Let's start another petition! The gap between reality and fiction is overrated, anyway!

I like Band of Brothers. And I respect the hell out of those guys for everything they did.

But this is WAY WAY WAY off topic.

True.

And just to show that I have absolutely no respect for anything...

"We few, we happy few!"

"We band of buggered..."
