Squidget Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 It seems like every edition introduces some amazing item that has an infinite number of uses in all sorts of different situations. Oddball utility stuff that isn't directly useful in combat, but can be twisted to absolutely crazy effect with a creative player behind it. The Portable Hole is an obvious classic, and now 3E's given us the Immovable Rod. As the saying goes...with a length of rope, a ten foot pole, a portable hole, and an immovable rod there is nothing a player can't accomplish. So, what are some crazy uses for the Immovable Rod that folks've thought up? Feel free to steal this sig.
Lady Alenuska Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Well unless it's a vibrateing rod of internal pleasure I dont see much use for it.
Judge Hades Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Actually you need three. They are great for door jams, and if you have 3 you have a portable ladder. Also they are fun to place infront of you, invisible, when someone decides to do a charge attack.
jaguars4ever Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Well unless it's a vibrateing rod of internal pleasure I dont see much use for it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When the man's away, the missus gets to play. ^_^
HiddenAssassin Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 If you attached it to a blade and stabbed it into a monster then pressed the button it could have some fun consequences when they try and chase you.
