Lara_Jade
I definitely have to say Taris. I liked Peragus...for the first few minutes. But, after that I was like "Must escape!!" I just thought it got really old, really fast. I loved all the subplots on Taris, the rakghouls, the swoop races, the cantinas, but on Peragus it was like "Oh look, a droid...and another one...and another one..." That was practically it, except for the whole thing with the miners, but they were all dead already anyway... Taris was just a really fun level, with way more characters and sidequests. Peragus just seemed really drawn out to me. It's been a while since I played KOTOR1 but I definitely think Taris was a more enjoyable level. -Jinrai-
There seems to be some issues in what actually is the whole beginning of TSL. I iniatiated this poll with Peragus vs. Taris because IMO they are planets so they should be treated as the beginning. So the question for this poll is more specifically "Which is better opening PLANET, Peragus or Taris?" I guess you could say Telos is the Taris of TSL, but one has to remember that TSL is not the K1. So naturally Obsidian tried to make a different approach to the game. Otherwise TSL would have been the same with new name. Also the storyline develops differently in TSL, it's like a steady flow of info, while KotOR had that only one big plot turnover, the sith lords seems to be evolving the whole time. My weaponmaster is now on Nar Shaddaa (second pick, Onderon was first) and so far I've loved the game and am looking forward to see more.
DSLuke
Taris was a really boring planet..... Peragus on the other side is a far more interesting story. You try to figure whats going on and the Sith are already after you. Peragus has the thrill Taris was missing. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom

And, would've if it wans't for the bugs to keep me awake. <> DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
