Drakron Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 http://www.darkhorse.com/zones/starwars/timeline.php Lets see were "Star Wars Tales" are under ... Infinities and what Infinities say? "Do not apply to the Timeline" Star Wars Tales are Infinities. Also lets look at Star Wars Tales #21 ... http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.php?sku=10-379 This is it-the beginning of a new direction for Star Wars Tales! Stepping away from the shorter, sillier Star Wars stories, with this issue Tales goes full-tilt toward a more exciting and sophisticated storytelling style. Were does it says "its EU now"? No they step away from the "shorter sillier Star Wars stories" to "more serious longer stories" but that hardly means "we are doing EU now" ... Tales was designed for Infinities, if they want to do EU again they would either relaunch a older series or make a new one instead of adding much confusing by making a Infinities series a EU Timeline serie after number #20.
Laozi Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Score, kotor comics! It'd be kinda cool if they made a comic on the backstories of all the characters. At least I think so. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ya, atleast you think so People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
rimwalker Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Of course, if you had read the actual press release regarding Star Wars Tales #21 (as found here: http://www.darkhorse.com/news/pressrelease.php?id=995 ) You would find this: Beginning with issue #21 in September, the quarterly anthology Star Wars Tales undergoes a radical retooling. Over the course of its five-year run, Tales has presented a large collection of short, non-continuity Star Wars stories ranging wildly in style and tone, careening between the deadly serious and the absolutely absurd, doing its best to cast as wide a net over as broad an audience as possible. Tales will be moving away from being a compilation of disparate, "what if?" style stories and becoming more of a companion to the other Star Wars monthlies (Empire and Republic) filled with longer, in-continuity adventures that span every Star Wars era. Tales is no longer Infinites and is part of comic-continuity now.

Tales is now mostly EU stories, unless there is an infinites label on the story written. KOTOR 2 must be completed
ryan12177 Posted February 8, 2005 Author Posted February 8, 2005 lol, Drakron went through a lot of effort to be dead wrong.
