Well, I dunno what it's like or was like in Canada, but the American grading system, that I had to endure for 8 years, went like this:

 

A 91-100

B 81-90

C 71-80

D 61-70

F 0-59

 

This was about four years ago, before that it was harder IIRC.

In Kanada the education system is more lax it seems.

Would explain a lot
