Ok, my ship has just crash landed on the surface of Telos and I keep on getting killed by those mercs. Especially the veteran mercenary with the energy shield.

 

How on earth do you defeat him? I have Kreia and Bao-Dur in my party but every combination of weapons and force powers doesn't work.

I juiced up on stims, activated my shields and made sure that I used bao durs shield breaker

Do you have any mines? I found that using steath and place some mines around. Shoot a couple and run. they'll follow you and hit the mines. also keep your players together and focus on one guy at a time.

What difficulty level are you on? I never had any issues with those guys.

My bad. I forgot to collect my property before leaving for the surface. :">

 

Fortunately I had a saved game from right around there where I could easily go get 'em. Whew!

It took me about 2 or so tries, and the help of Ender to beat them.

Bao Dur's shield breaker helps a lot in addition to the normal things: stims, energy shields, and the like.
