Drakron
Ironic really, considering this is exactly how I'd describe you and your obsession with the d20 ruleset and how you blow a fuse when anything deviates from it. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I cannot say about you but I know the d20 system, I played several d20 systems. As any system there are core components that if changed can create a inbalance, the d20 does have a modular design but it does not mean you can change core components. The only real problems I had with KotOR was how they handled skills (expecialy the points gained from Int. ), the rest I only had issues of how they copy/paste the weapons stats from Star Wars d20 and did not rebalance the since Star Wars d20 had some rules that KotOR d20 lacks causing blasters to be weaker that they sould. Gabrielle
Wired wrote that about TSL: Who? (I'm being sarcastic I know who they are, it's just that they don't matter to me when it comes to games or any other kind of information.)
EnderAndrew
If they don't want exposition, they shouldn't play RPGs. I'm only 5 hours in, but I think the dialogue is VASTLY improved from KOTOR:1.
213374U
Some people are going to like it, and some are not. If I were to write a review about HL2 it would probably go against what most reviews out there say. Does that mean my review is wrong? Nope, it's just it's reviewed under my criteria. It was only a matter of time before somebody wrote a negative review, if only to 'be different'. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast. nightcleaver
His saying the problems of the prequels are even vaguely similar to the problems with TSL is totally nut-ball. The prequels might've been good, if the, "lengthy exposition" actually had anything happening in it. Indee, he complains that there's too much happening in this game. What I don't understand, and why I've grown to hate reviewers, is why he can't say that he doesn't care for the fast pacing of events in the sequel? Oh well. Actually, except for that last comment, I thought this was a great review.
