Where is the overrid epanel for the security door? ive systmatically searched the base room by room and cant find it. the only panel i found is the ventilation controls, but that doesnt have an option to open the security door.

 

A speedy response would be appreciated

It's in the sparing room, I think. There is a door and a panel right next to eachother. If you select the panel you will get the option to "open and enter" -- pick that.

Did I stumble across a game-ruining bug? did the panel get destroyed somehow?

Are u talking about the part when ur underattack in the jek jek tar or just talking about going there....cause if ur trying to get below, u need to talk to the twilek in the booth...

... sigh.. im under the jekk jekk tar, with hanharr trying to open the high security door my character is behind, but the panel boiler98 spoke of doesnt exsist.. im wondering if he just made it up, or forgot, or what..

If memory serves, it is in the room to your left as you are leaving the arena. Don't take the rap around hall, go straight through the first door and then turn left. There should be 3 people training in the room. Is that the room you tried?

 

After Mira opens the door, your character gets to run around the facility too. I ran into that door a second time and the panel was still there, so I don't think it will disappear (then again, stranger things have happened in KotOR games).

heh i played as hanharr.. not mira.

 

but i finally found it! YAY! no wonder i couldnt find it. i had to manually use L/R to select it.

Ah, I didn't realize you could select Hanharr at that point. So Hanharr/Mira are selected based on your alignment on Nar Shaddaa I guess. Another pair is selected based on sex. So much replay value!
