I think that the dialogue options on TSL is gonna be quite amazing.

 

I mean they spent the last year and a half developing only the plot of the game, meaning that they didn't design any new graphics engine or something that time consuming.

the force is what gives a jedi his power. its an energy field created by all living things. it surrounds us and penetrates us. it binds the galaxy together

The dialogue in the original was great (and not only because of the voice actors), I can't wait to hear the dialogue in KOTOR2, it will be amazing, the lines, the voices, it will all be superb. Things can only get better for KOTOR2.

I'm sure that the game will be dark enough, but will it have the comic relief the previous had?

From what I have seen in the few dialogue screens released, it could well have.

Thre was definitely humor in the old Black Isle games. But not in the over-the-top Bioware style.
