Best Char Built

Recommended Posts

My favorites are scout/guardian or scout/concular split at level 5/15

I always leave con at 10 since the game is pretty easy so it is a waste of time to spend attributes points there. And I always put int 14, which gives me alot of skill points to use. When using a guardian I leave dex at 12 and pump rest in str. The other way around with consular. And consulart gets wis 16.

Well the 2 best giving stats are con and wisdom since they add a decent amount to con and wisdom to force points.

Most other only add a +1 to att/dmg, +1AC, +1save or +1save penalty.

If you go the 2warrior and 18jedi like some above mention you get +18force point per +1stat bonus in wisdom.

And con is like a +20hp add at lvl 20 for each +1bonus.

In my opion its worht more than a +1bonus to some random melee, save or casting save penalty.

My personal favorite was my assassin. 9 scoundral (need to get almost every possible experience point) 11 guardian.

Str 18

Dex 14

Con 14

int 10

chr 8

wis 8

Mastered Dueling and critical attack, pumped all of my stat boosts into str, and got as much +str gear as I could find, and the massive criticals crystal.

The only force powers I ever used were heal and speed, even though i was DS. But I did bring Jolee along with me almost every time to throw out his stasis fields for me.

It was the most fun I've had seeing the huge crits on stunned baddies.

I have played a lot of different chars, but this one was probably the best once he finally hit his stride. Breezed through Malak easier than any other combo I played.

If you put +20hp up against +1att/+1dmg youll have to hit 20times with weapon to get same benifit as having +20hp.

while it may add on with combo attack style i still think the +20hp is worth more.

And for wisdom if you compare where do you with other abilities get +1will save +force points and enemies gain -1dc to save against you.

Why dident you go something like:

str 14

dex 14

con 14

int 12

wisdom 14

cha 10

If you were ds and use dmg powers id put up in cha and wis to add to DC.

But if you like you said played LS would buff and heal mostly you might want to place the +5in stat at 20lvl in either str, dex or con.

Personally id put in 15str and 14dex 18con at 20lvl or if you wanna go dex 18-19 and 14-15str at 20lvl.

last time i played was a soldier\consular and i found that to be pretty effective... now im playing:

5 scount\15 consular

str 14

dex 15

con 12

int 8

wis 14

cha 14

imma pump up dex +5 but im debating whether or not im going to spend those extra attribute points on wis. it's kinda iffy though seeing as how consulars get extra points to their DCs.

im thinking about just leveling my dex up to 17 (where im at now) and buying the implant at kashyyk that gives u +3 to dex and put everything else into wis...ill see how things work out. might just go with all in dex seeing how qel-droma's robes give a hefty amount of wis (i think +4) so i just might head on over there, talk to yuthura to get in the academy, head in the caves, get the robes and split.

after playing through the game 4 or 5 times there's plenty of gauntlets that increase strength so no use in putting that many points in the str attribute.

I did it that way because I was bored. I wanted to play around with the Critical Attack tree in order to really compare it to flurry and power attack. Since it used STR modifier to detremine stuns, i pumped my str as high as I could get it (to detremine the max usefullness of it) Since I was going to have a stunned opponenet more often than not, I wanted to use a scoundral with the highest possible sneak attack (5) that I could get. Since it require's a "double check" to get an actual critical hit, I needed to be a guardian for the higher AB, and I used dueling instead of staff-bug or two weapon for more help in the attack bonus department, luckily my high str modifier also helped that.

I started that build just to test out mechanics, but like I said it ended up being the most fun build I have played. And I really ddn't need any other force powers. I had high enough defense and VP that I could last through a gang-up beat-down. I could stun them better with my saber than most people can with force, and as long as I kept crit striking them they stayed stunned. I just used Master speed in most fights for the extra attacks, and then healed after the fights.

If DS caster i tend to do the 15str 12dex 14con 10int 16wis 16cha at 20lvl since i believe adding to DC is more important than getting +1/+2 up in dex, usually use the +2dex +4all save belt to make up for that.

I've done this too, it works bloody wonders, not too mention you end up with a pretty nice Defence rating.
