Beerfish Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Anyone see the new Honda commercials, animated guy talking about how great Honda cars are....voice of Morte, unmistakeable and seemingly appropriate that he was a car salesman before he became a skull. (These commercials are in Canada btw, not sure if they are shown in the states or Europe.)
Oerwinde Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Anyone see the new Honda commercials, animated guy talking about how great Honda cars are....voice of Morte, unmistakeable and seemingly appropriate that he was a car salesman before he became a skull. (These commercials are in Canada btw, not sure if they are shown in the states or Europe.) If I recognize the voice right, he is also the voice of Yakko on Animaniacs, Pinky, from Pinky and the Brain, and Raphael from the 80s ninja turtles. In other words, yes I've seen them. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
ILs Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I hate Morte's voice. This guy? http://imdb.com/name/nm0667326/
Cantousent Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Comedy. Thanks for the link to the mysterious Morte. I, on the other hand, really liked Morte's voice over in PS:T. Arkan Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 One thing Interplay did right was voice acting... "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta

Phosphor Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Yeah, playing ToEE right now and my god... its like they just got the staff to do it. Maybe this is an area where Troika wanted the game to echo the original module - complete with bad voices by D&D players.
