Fearless_Jedi
They should have a chat with good ole' Nick Gillard about their animations, he can help get the animators to make the moves look alot more like the prequel movies and I think we all agree the prequel movie saber battles kicked ass. Ecrir Twy'Lar
I just didn't like the "power attack" animation. I stopped even taking that feat just because I thought it looked so inappropriate. I mean, come on, who does a flip in the air like that when they are in a sword duel? I did like most of the rest of the animations though. I think my favorite animations were when you did no special moves at all and your character would parry and throw kicks in once in a while. I think Star Wars Galaxies used actual motion capture for their character animations... I wonder if LucasArts has these or if Sony created them? thepixiesrock
I have an idea to make the combat in kotor more realistic. The entire fight would go on as normal up until the very end. On the last strike you take against your oponent, or vise versa, the lightsaber or vibroblade will actually make contact with the oponents body thus ending their life. If you understand what I am saying. I think it is a pretty good idea, but then again its my own idea and if I didn't think it was good I wouldn't have posted it... Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there. Viper1000
points taken.... still found it a challenge using a single saber against a master reborn <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um... strong saber style and well I either used Force Rage or just kept side stepping and doing an overhead slice. Wasn't too hard.
Jedi Master D Murda
I thought the battle animations in KOTOR were very nice the first couple times through but then you can start to see it's flaws. Using the same animations from the beginning of the game looked ridiculous by the end. I though Malak's animations were very nice, obviously because his were different from every other Jedi in the game. Power attack was truly stupid Ecrir Twy'Lar. Hopefully the battle animations in this game will be as promising as they make it sound.
