Yeah, It'd certainly help us feel more for the droid. I used him once in the entire game.

Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (

I think having a destroyer droid as a side kick would be a good thing.

TripleRRR

Using a gamepad to control an FPS is like trying to fight evil through maple syrup.

I was disappointed you didn't see a difference in KotOR.

It frankly disappointed me that HK was such a fully realized party member and T3 was a piece of bantha-poodoo. He had no personality, story or dialogue. I might as well have had a toaster in my party. Except a toaster can toast bagels. T3 just took up space.

He made computer spikes. :p

I'd rather have a toasted bagel, perhaps Asiago Cheese or Tomato Basil with some cream cheese.

Then you could feed it to the computer and it'd like you so much it'd do anything you asked, without spikes.

Who says T3 doesn't toast bagels?

Give him a Baragwin Flame Thrower and he'll toast anything you want.

he still will look the same though. i think demigod has a point there.

It's very hard to be polite if you're a cat.

Demigod does have a point.

However, before we worry about aesthetics, we need to make droids useable and valuable party members first, IMO.

you mean by having them say a little more then "beep beep" and "tweeeep beep" ?

or by actually having them DO something once in a while?

yeah... that'd be good.

otherwise t3 will be just my rolling, beeping swiss army knive.

It's very hard to be polite if you're a cat.

I really want a droid to make me bagels. If I had a droid, I'd install a bagel toaster and a mini-fridge.

don't forget the dvd player and LCD screen!

You forgot that every droid needs an Easy Bake Oven.

All I want is a cheese burger...

Ok, to be serious. I wish the developers can put in some animations like opening a hatch and pull out a gun like stuff when the droid is using flame thrower or freezing ray. It seems wired to see the flame or freezing ray come out from the blaster or no where...

I'd like a scene like in ROTJ where your PC is captured and T3 throws you your saber... But that might be too copied. Then again....
