MullyMagic Posted Tuesday at 05:22 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:22 PM After finishing the game I thought it would be cool to keep updating with good and not so good findings and also for others to post theirs, a more relaxed and not so serious section. I am currently doing runs with a mage and a barbarian at various stages after finishing the game at 65 hours as a ranger gunner on Xbox Series X on quality 60fps. Don't be shy post anything that sticks with you even when you stop playing and can't keep this game out of your head like me. - Normal npc's don't blink and it scares me, I can't unsee it now. - Playing new runs really shows the strength of writing with npc's reacting to new outcomes and companions doing the same. Also just being able to stumble across quests at different stages and being able to continue them without breaking it and npc's dialogue updates to it, not enough praise for this. - While trying to look at my envoy in 3rd person as you move the camera they always look left or right, I can't get them to look straight at the camera. Why are they so shy? - Seagulls randomly appear and seem to be gliding in slow motion, are they stalking me trying to get back their coin. It's not my fault they are never around to defend their nests even during quests. -Lots of mentions of balracks and various cave paintings of dragons not sure if a balrack is a dragon but they are not in the game? Maybe cut content due to time or kept for dlc, may also apply to at least two zones on the map I can make out that we don't get to go to? A jungle/swamp and am artic are, I hope we get to see them regardless of the reason. -I see a lot of people in need of coin on the streets but I can't give them any, is it an envoy thing? - I love that you can find a treasure without the need to get the map like other games where it would only spawn in once you get the map. - Every step I make in this game screams just how much this game is enhanced by not being fully open world and more hand crafted. I will post more as I come across them. Post your not so serious findings, you know you want to.
MullyMagic Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago - The amazing lighting that draws you to new areas from plants to bottles of health or essence, so very well placed. - The really good lip syncing in conversations to the point I notice npc's pronouncing their th's with their tongues on their teeth. - Enjoying a few areas where it is possible to be around and look closer at what would normally be enemies, to see their amazing detail and animations. - Plunging/diving into water. - Still finding new things in areas I thought I had thoroughly inspected in other runs.
Frak_the_2nd Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Kai doesn't know himself. Why else does he decide to down before using his "Unbending Defiance"? Coxfither of a maternal isn't the player character and that ability is not a "potion I will save for a very challenging fight, which this is not"

Coxfither of a maternal isn't the player character and that ability is not a "potion I will save for a very challenging fight, which this is not" i have a similar gripe about Marius. You can upgrade Shadow Step so that it basically instakills stunned enemies. When it works it's great! But he'll just waste it on un-stunned enemies or not use it when there are stunned enemies! I tried disabling the setting for companions to use their abilities themselves, but this added way more radial micromanagement than I enjoyed. Other allies have similar problems, but it's less of a big deal w/ e.g. Kai's taunt, because at least he's still taunting. But Shadow Step has an extremely looooong cooldown and it's only really effective if it's smartly targeted! (Same goes for another upgrade that lets it do more damage the less health the target has) I wish there were slightly better smarts for companions, or at least have a system where if I put an ability on my hotkeys that they stop using it automatically. 1
