Light Saber handles customizable?

 

From what I saw in some screens there is some sith trooper lookin dude holding his sword (handle near face pointin forward)

 

If not planned maybe lightsaber handling styles

yeah, some different fighting styles would be nice- one for each class would be good, but i doubt it as it would mean lots of modeling.

 

compare dookus style to that of obi-wan or yoda. major differences there.

 

i'd like to see at least the antagonists feature distinct styles though

One handed lightsaber dueling would be Awesometastic! Weaponmaster and Assassin...IMHO...

how about weird light saber designs? Like... a LIGHT SABER PIN WHEEL!!!! You press this button and all four lightsabers turn on and spins!!! like a pin wheel!! OMG THAT WOULD OWN.

I remember talking about this, anyways, I'm absolutely positive that their will be lightsaber "stances" , I don't know if that embraces everything, but stances will be in the game, each with their own strengths and weaknesses...

Me too. And I think that there should only be lightsabers. Different kinds, but only sabers. No daggers, no whips... none of that crap because it just messes with the whole Star Wars thing.

His stance was, but we didn't see his fighting style before the first events that took place...I wonder how he fought...probably like Malak since that was his apprentice...

I think it would look odd if he fought like Malak. I think Malak had his own style because he was the fighter.. and Revan was the brains. So I'm assuming Revan had a more effective style, one that involved more thinking and strategy than Malak's one handed beat down.

I don't know if it would be more refined, but I think you have the right premise, but Revan probably eliminated his opponents before they even got close to him...

Yes true. Like Malak did right before you fight him at the end. The force lightening and throw lightsaber at the same time.

In regards to the whole lightsaber colors thing, what about a lightsaber that changes colors at random.

Why don't you just change the color crystals?

No I'm talking about for a few seconds it's red, then it changes to blue, then to yellow, etc.

I know, and I find it a useless visual effect, not worthy of the devs time... ...that's why I said change crystals...

red, blue, green, orange, purple, and yellow

 

What else is there? Brown? (poop) Black? (stupid... considering it is a "light"saber... and black represents the absence of light) Pink? (gay and hardly appropriate) Pastels? (pastels would just be lighter shaded primary colors... not worth it) Combo colors... ie. bluish-green? (not really enough of a change to make that noticeable of a difference)

 

The only color I could think of would be a silver hue... or perhaps a white. In fact, there are some insances of jedi using this color througout the SWs history.

 

Something else that might be cool would be having TWO color crystal slots for double-bladed sabers... so that one end could be a different color from the other.
