I was thinking for the next Grounded update there would be bees because in the game I got nectar from flowers.

It says it attracts bees but there are none so if there where bees you would have 2 options
kill them to get
bee wings (for armor)

bee parts (for tools)

Honeycomb (for food)

or you can use the nectar to ride the bees.

with the option of bees being a flying transport why not add birds. birds would be a flying boss which can only be defeated by flying with a bee and shooting it with arrows

(it could have weak points on it's wings so it will fall down and make it easier to defeat)
It would drop
bird beak (for armor)

bird feathers (for decoration or an advanced glider instead of dandelion tuft )

bird talons (for a sword or pick)

if this got into an update I would call it THE SKY UPDATE

thanks

how would bee wings make armor?  they're flimsy, light and soft, horrible for armor.

we have a bird now that drops feathers for crafting.  even a humming bird is 10+ times our size,  we'd be no match for an insect eater, even in a group of 4.   so my vote is no on this bird idea.

Bee idea has some good parts.  I wouldn't use the wings for armor like you mention, they could instead be used for a glider like the dandelion seed.  There's already bee armor you can find in the game.  This could give us the pattern to make new stronger armor though.

I understand the bee wings for armor would not give you a lot of defense but

the ant armor set gives you the ability to walk past soldier ants without them attacking

so the bee armor (if the full set is worn) will make all the bees passive (unless you attack them)

the armor pieces would be

the bee crown (hat)

the bee robes (chest piece)

bee slippers (shoes)

with this set equipped the bees will think you are the queen bee and not attack you (then you can ride them )

the bird however is complicated, but with mutations in the game why not add TINY TIME (i could not find a better name for this)

this mutation will allow the user  to slow down time for 5 seconds(usually big things are slower but with the TINY TIME you can avoid the birds attacks) by pressing a button (it does not matter which button it is)

it will have a cooldown of 5 seconds and the mutation can be obtained by shooting arrows (100, 200 or 500 it does not matter and it would be annoying to pick them all up so be prepared)

The only gliders are the dandelion tuft but using the bee wings, woven fiber and sprigs you can make THE BEE GLIDER. It would be like a paraglider and would have more hang time than the dandelion tuft. but if you use feathers, woven fiber and bug parts (any kind of bug parts) you would get THE EAGLE. It would be the last glider you can get and it would have more hang time than the bee glider (and it would look cool).

thanks

There's really no reason to bother fighting a bird at your scale in the game.

You want an aerial boss? There's the soon to come dragonflies. Those are big and vicious.
