Sir Green Day Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 (edited) Do you have to worry about supporting ceiling pieces? Like in some games, you can only build 5 ceiling tiles out from a support (wall etc) and then you have to add another support (wall etc) to build more ceilings. Or can you build as far out as you want? Thanks in advance. Edited August 11, 2020 by Sir Green Day Typo
Narikai Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 The system needs work. Support is needed to build a floor/ceiling. However, you don't actually have to build the support. You can place a single scaffold blueprint then just start building floating bases/bridges but if that support is ever canceled the supported structure is demolished.
AcousticColors Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 You can build as far as you want as long as the first tile is connected to a wall or scaffolding. I've made massive bridges dozens if not hundreds of tiles long.
Yoshuren Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Well I don't like seeing floating objects just floating in mid air. I like to see builds have some structural integrity as to not have floating objects. It bothers me to see things just float in mid air unsupported. Unless you got anti gravity.
