Just Ideas for Grounded

Recommended Posts

First of all, I just wanna say I've enjoyed this game so far, and I hope it keeps getting updates.

Suggestions/ideas

  • First of all how about new traps, that are made for catching small insects, like the weavers or green bugs, though in order the catch them, you'd have to use certain bait.
  • Animal pen, so basically you catch small bugs like the little green bugs, once you catch them you can create an animal pen and put them down inside, where the won't despawn, and if you've captured two, if you feed them, the next day there would be a possibility of having third, which you can kill and eat. Basically  being able to farm animals like cattle.
  • A new type of ant armor like soldier ant armor which would have better protection than normal ant armor, as well as a new buff which increased the ant club's damage.
  • The possibility of capturing Ant Worker and Soldier Ant larva from Ant colonies, and being able to raise the larva and when the grow up, Ant worker would collect items for your while soldier ants would protect your, your base, or other ants you've raised
  • Other Ant colony that will battle other Ants that aren't apart of their colony.
  • New Ant species like black ants, which could have  new armor and weapons, and would attack the standard red ants.

I was also thinking about a few things to make the garden seem more alive.

-Birds, could also help eat the annoying larvae. They could also have eggs for whatever consumable, craftable, currency reason.

-Venus fly traps that can be harvested and grown for base protection.

-Predator(s) at night that specifically look for you if you aren't in-doors.

-Slugs, snails, leeches, earthworms for the wetlands area.

-Bird eating spiders (if they put birds in the game)

-Snakes or garden snakes

If they introduce access to the HOUSE I think that would be really cool. I'm not sure where the story will lead but maybe walking human(s) inside, pets, rats, centipedes in the basement?

I like how this has become a nice place with ideas so I will add a couple I had.

New creatures suggestion

- Earwig (It`s parts can be used to craft a tool that can be used to grab items out of the water like weed stems)

- Woodlice (might be a cool armor that blocks when Crouching)

- Silverfish

- Stick \ Leaf bug

- Salamander

- Cater pillar - Butterfly (using butterfly wings might act as defense for earlier suggestion of birds)

- Dragonfly (parts are needed for the earlier mention grabbing tool

- Praying mantis

- Crickets

- Frog

- Caterpillars

- Moths

- Oak processionary

- Silk worm

Carnivorous plants

- Sundew

- Bladderworts (water plant)

Other plants found in perhaps a new area that can be created.

Fruit an vegetable garden

- Sunflower

- Tomato

- Lettuce

- Bell pepper

- Carrot

- Radish

- Strawberry

- Mint

- Garlic

- Pepper plant

- Lemon grass

- Rosemary
