Quick question about SSS

Hey, this will be quick.

I just finished the SSS, but what the Hel is this thing on the screenie? Never have I seen it nor fought it.

I mean, the last boss fight is just some angry croc.

There are three different paths you can follow: Seeker, Slayer or Survivor. Once you follow one particular path you won't see the enemies of the challenges the other two would provide.

Slaying Face's hunt for the Titan Heart if I remember correctly.,  you get that fight when you collect some item (each Face have 3 of that optional fights tied to certain items scattered across deadfire). And You can pick all paths but be a champion  just for one Face. I think you first need to win 2 fights from Face  path to get that optional quests.

Thanks for the insight. Still, I'd like to know what is that thing? Is it a construct? Being ablaze it gives me Magran-ish vibes.
