fkngoon Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Without spoiling... I chose a certain flaw in my character that occasionally affects her stats... The problem is I have no clue when its happening so I would like some kind of on screen notification so I know to do something about it.
Ommamar Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 Up to the right of your health bar is where buffs/debuffs are shown, I do agree they are very small and I constantly have to bring up the entry in the codex to decipher what they mean. With buffs I can just look at what I have slotted but debuffs are harder as the only way to tell is by looking up the icons. 1

I have a similar flaw and I have just gotten used to looking up at that bar and I know the icon to look for now. When I see it I react accordingly

They happen when something happens too often. like you eat too many times, you jump off a roof too many times and get hurt. My next play through I am going self inflicted iron man mode. No save other than auto, no refusing flaws and no scum saving/loading. Supernova again because, well, I grew up on games like Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. Games now are easy mode if not pushed to the highest setting.
thearmourofGod Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 (edited) i am now doing “hardcore” playthroughs once i learn a games basic mechanics skyrim was the end for me in a very very great way im not on pc i love hud and gameplay customization: thief 4 is superb on super optimization put the fluff away and see what the game really is TOW is a superior game for adults Edited October 31, 2019 by thearmourofGod
