I've noticed that in ship to ship boarding fights, the companions/sidekicks/hirelings that are not in my current party will often not use any abilities or cast any spells, but will just auto attack only

That's a bummer, since I really like those characters' participation in ship boarding fights. I suppose this is related to the fact that you can't program AI routines for your characters in turn-based. I didn't think I'd miss that, but in this particular case it matters.

Casting the cipher ability that blinds and flanks also causes all affected enemies to turn invisible and untargetable while on a boarding fight.

Hello everyone!

Thanks for the heads-up on the ship combat.  I put this into a report and sent it to the team for an investigation.  If you discover anything else about this issue, please continue to post about it here as I linked this thread to the bug report for the team to use as a reference.

Thanks again for all the help!

Hi to everyone,

i'm not a native speaker, so sry for my bad english

i don't know if it is still relevant to talk about this, but there's still a major problem with the non party chars in a ship to ship boarding.

often at their turn many of the crew members don't make anything just stand around and after a while the turn ends and goes to the next.

so especially in more difficult fights or higher levels of difficulty its not possible to win those fights if no one assists my active party. so this is problem is still existing...
