There's a comment about it in the Power Level thread.  Yes it apparently increases FoD, and in a very meaningful way (especially if you are dual-wielding, esp with Sun and Moon).

Note Ring of Focused Flame is also great.

FoD has the <Fire> keyword, so anything that boosts <Fire> damage, power level and accuracy, boosts FoD.

Works. With FoD, Instrument of Boundless Rage and other non-caster abilities that are keyword with fire/burn.

 

Also Scion of Flame and Ring of Focused Flames. If you want to make a paladin build around FoD you should consider those two things as well.

 

Another weapon you might want to pick up is Sun & Moon (+2 additional PL for fire abilities). Makes +4 in total.

By the way, let's use this opportunity to shame Obsidian again on the fact that it's easy for 1 person to get +5 Fire PL (per above) but, you know, *screw you* Corrode/Acid as the only Corrode/Acid PL item is Chromoprismatic Qstaff (+1 PL).  Shock has it slightly better and so does Frost.  Corrode/Acid is the unwanted stepchild, sad.  And apparently nobody has even modded +PL Corrode/Acid items ... Every time I want to do a priest of berath playthru, I cry.

Yes, somebody really likes fire damage.

 

To be fair: I think most of the burn PL stuff is backers' content.
