raffster
Nothing seems to hurt that enormous Iron Construct Colossus. What kind of skills / abilities / items do we need to beat this new megaboss. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
Kaylon
Here's how you can solo him - you can try to adapt this strategy for your party. Basically you have to keep him at range using summons while using shock (Essence Interrupter, spells) or crush damage (scepters) against him. To reduce the fire damage use high burn armor, large shield modal, Rekvu's cloak, etc... https://youtu.be/lbvf0x5PbFk
Selenium
Now I game test, tried this boss out for 5 deaths and just wonder what drugs the devs are on, if they could provide an answer that would be great because I would love to get that high and create a boss that has no weakness to some parties. To explain my main is a shadowdancer and she dies within minutes, there is no way of helping her survive the encounter..This is poor forthought at its finest. The resolution is simple burn armour for melee without incurring damage reduction or penalties for cladding heavier armour on rogues and their ilk, in other words you need to create a few light or medium armour types with burn resistance because there are none in the game that are reliable or useful in order for rogue/melee teams to survive the encounter or have half a chance. Success in an RPG is based on the player being able to choose whatever team they want and still have a way to overcome a boss, not have to switch out of what they prefer entirely, that does not bring satisfaction to the player base becoming an annoyance and a quick way to lose a fanbase and reputation. Bring the challenge but make it viable for all team set ups. Edited January 7, 2019 by Selenium
Franknstein
This is poor forthought at its finest On your part, I say. It's an optional battle, and it's called "mega-boss" for a reason. If you could beat it with any setup, anytime, no effort, that would be a trash mob, not a mega-boss, no? 1 Hey, you wanna hear a good joke?
