Just saw the latest gameplay and it looks like it's going in the direction of Fallout 4 in terms of adding MLG l33t noscopebro hitmarkers to the gameplay.

Can we at least please have the option to turn the hitmarkers off? I find them unnecessary, obstructive and a crappy way of letting the player know they've hit something. Why not just have what you've hit look like they just got hit with something? You know like screaming in pain, moving differently or blood splatter?

Thanks.

Hmm. This should be easy to implement to be honest. I'll be surprised if there are no options for this.

As for the hit feedback... You'll know when they fall. And to be honest, they already seem to be flinching whenever they are hit, so all seems to be well in that front.

I hope so.

Turning off enemy lifebars would be another bonus if they added that to the options.

I just want the damage text off. Reminds me of Borderlands, AND I HATED BORDERLANDS!

Really excited for this though.

God, yes, I support the idea from the OP with all my heart. I find quest markers as a poor excuse/patch for bad quest writing and composition. I works fairly well in MMO, but is absolutely terrible in singleplayer games.

Uh, you may want to reread the OP.

I have no idea what OP said....MGS leet necrophiliac..........but I do agree with the following statement, about making it look as if the objects/characters being hit. I personally hate it when you shoot an enemy, and it JUST lowers their HP, and it's as if they didn't JUST get shot in the face.
