Hoo
Currently, Soulbound weapons cannot be upgraded so the Quality, such as Fine, Exceptional, Superb, and legendary, keeps remaining lower than the other Unique weapons. This limitation makes the Soulbounds getting worse and worse especially at late game. Is there any mod that allows the Quality upgrade for the Soulbounds, or is it possible to make such mod? house2fly
It's certainly possible; you'd just need to add another soulbound level and conditions for it. It's on my list of mods I'd like to try doing (though a bit lower on the list since there's a chance Obsidian might do it themselves)
AndreaColombo
I've been trying to make Lord Darryn's Voulge upgrade all the way up to Legendary, but I can't seem to and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. For reference, here are my modified files. This weapon comes as Exceptional and stays so for two unlocks before turning Superb in its third. What I tried to do was change the 2nd unlock so it upgrades to Superb, then change the 3rd so it upgrades to Legendary. To that end, I added the ID for "Exceptional" under "ItemModsToRemoveIDs" and the ID for "Superb" under "ItemModsToAddIDs" for all versions of the 2nd unlock and, mutatis mutandis, the same thing with Superb and Legendary for the 3rd unlock. Thing is, when I place the file in the override folder, nothing changes. I leveled up the weapon on a Fighter using the Unity Console and it remained Exceptional/Superb. Any idea what I'm missing? FailGeek
Oh, I was working on this. Here's mine: https://pastebin.com/AjP5f6Ck "UnlockStages" needs to be copied entirely because it's a single entry and you're effectively overriding all of it. (if you've ever edited the progression tables, it's the same thing - that's why all the class mods have to be merged manually). But it may be a bit regarding putting up on Nexus because I'm still deciding on a direction for some things (whether or not I want to add damage types for the original soulbounds, and how I'll institute a temporary upgrade to Mythical). For now, if you want to use it just copy the pastebin to a gamedatabundle. (It'll change Blightheart to Pierce/Corrode, Marux Amaranth to Slash/Burn, and make Magistrate's Cudgel Veil Piercing).
