I took a look at the list of different grimoires in PoE1 and 2 and to my surprise there's no one called Cleveland Mark Blakemores Grimoire. Like wtf?

How come? It's a huge mistake on your part! Can you at Obsidian please add one such item to Deadfire ASAP?

I had to look up who this person even was. I doubt the devs have ever heard of him either.

So ignorant. He's the most famous game developer of them all. Deserves his own Grimoire in this. Obsidian should work something out to resolve this mistake.

The Grimoire of Vaporous Wizardry is a backer item that is a reference to that guy and his game.

Maybe I am ignorant, but for such a "famous game developer" I've never heard of him or his game on reddit, social media, or any gaming news sites. I can find most sites made mention of him, one time, around a year ago when his 20 years in development game released. Before or after that? Zilch.

Ah that's great news! But a far to subtle reference. It needs to be spelled out

e: So here it is, Cleve Markland Blakemores Griomoire of Vaporous Wizardy!

You can mod in a new grimoire pretty easily, and fill it with Cleve-appropriate spells. You can even create new spells! Be the change you wish to see, and all that
