Chorus of the Lost Affecting Friendly Summon

As stated in the title, I used Chorus of the Lost, and it put the debuff on a summoned tentacle that was in the area of effect. If this is a situational thing, I can go about getting the save file and all that.

The save might be helpful for this as I was curious to the manner in which you summoned the tentacle so I know which one to cast.  I tried on Maura's Writhing Tentacles and Chorus of the Lost didn't work on them.  If the save won't upload to the forum, can you send it to me at support@obsidian.net along with your forum user name and a link to this thread as a reference?
