I wanted to play POE2 in German. My login on Steam is German. The "Properties" for the game said the language was German, but as soon as I started to play, I got nothing but English. Googling through the net, I found I could go into regedit change LanguageName (HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Obsidian Entertainment/Pillars of Eternity II) to German, and that gave me German text, but the sounds are all still in English. Is there any way the change the audio too?

There's only English language audio

Voiceover is English only.

Judging by your post your English is good enough to understand the English voiceover. They all talk in a way that even non-native speakers can understand it and everything they say is also presented with text.

The German translation is traditionally bad by the way.

Ich denke, dass Dir die Englische Version auf lange Sicht besser gefallen würde. :)

Sadly there is only English voiceovers. However, if you are distracted by it, there is a slider to turn the voice volume down.

The German gam mags, such as gamestar or pc games are pretty clear on the matter: Only english voice overs, german text.

Btw, I always play in englsh, since the usual translations always lack in atmosphere. Judging by your post, I would say, there should be no problems understanding.
