High Religion ?

I was looking at a straight paladin build that had religion almost maxed out.  What benefit would that be?  This was a DPS build, although it was not min/max.

^ Indeed, the DLC introduced a weapon that scales with Religion skill.

 

Also, Religion is a surprisingly nice conversation skill.

Xoti's Sickle has a great scaling bonus with Religion as well, if you want to go 1H.
