I am pretty weak at rogue/melee builds but I heard much of this legendary blade. How would one go about best optimising the use of Pukestabber and what weapon would best pair with it? would a 1H build work well too? Any advice would be appreciated.

I would try to do a Shadowdancer Monk/Streetfighter build similar to Teesinz's Mirke build: https://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/8t0qn6/mirke_the_speed_demon_shadowdancer_leveling/

I would make a few changes:

- Armor: Bloody Links with Armor Rating upgrade

- 2nd weapon: Tuotilo's Palm

- Ring: Swap one out for drunkard's regret

I am thinking of trying this myself, but I've already played Shadowdancer once.  It's such a good class.

Ranger/monk would be my personal choice to optimize pukestabber. Pukestabber in off hand and Rännigs Wrath with modal in mainhand, modal won't bother u with full attacks and with Rännig + modal + ranger there's going to be very easy to land crits.

Isn't one of the key benefits to Pukestabber that it buffs dagger speed, so if you dual-wield daggers you really go to town (use Marux Aumanth in the offhand).

It speeds up both weapons (if the second one is a dagger, too).

Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods

Would be awesome if pukestabbers speed/damage bonus applied to stilettos also... Anyone like to mod that?
