Eh? Why don't you just give her high mechanics?

I recruited Mirke at level 10 - meaning she was level 8/9 and had bad mechanics.

I don't know what level Ywin is - but I recruited her quite late.

If you have the spare cash, you can always retrain your companions from level 1 in the pub.

This may not help your present playthrough, but:

  1. I strongly encourage you and everyone else in the world to turn off Automatic Companion Level-up in settings.
  2. Generally it'll make your life easier if your Watcher is your Mechanics user. With items and buddy bonuses, you actually only need like a 12 or 13 to get all locks and traps.

If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time.

Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.

I think you have auto level enabled. Turn it off and you and give her high mechanics by leveling her manually.

Cheapest level retainer? Or it is all the same price?

All the same.  Merchant discounts don't apply to retraining costs.

Yes, you forgot to switch off the auto-leveling of companions in the game menu. I don't remember if it is activated by default or not.
