dunehunter Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Hey I wish there is a mod that allow every class to access to quick switch, to me it is a very generic ability that every one should be able to get. Anyone can make this into a mod?
ferzal Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 AFAIK this would involve modifying the progression table of every single class in the game which, whilst easy, is time consuming. I think that any class/subclass mod would clash with every other class mod out there so if you add a single skill to all classes you would clash with all subclass mods out there. (Someone correct me if this is wrong). Adding just a single skill into the progressiontable requires overriding the entire table for that class from what I can tell. I've looked at the class progressiontables (the thing that describes what skills are available to each class and at what levels) and it appears as one enormous connected block for each class.
mammasaura Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 (edited) Or you could take an ability that's shared by all the classes like "Arms Bearer", "Tough", etc... and add the status effect of the quick switch. It's the fastest way and shouldn't break other mods. Edited July 3, 2018 by mammasaura

ferzal Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 The new patch will change this as per dev post. We will be able to modify a portion of the progression table and not mess up/clash with other mods for simple things like this.
