June 23, 20187 yr This is probably related to having cast Reaper Knives on myself (bad player; bad!), however it could also be related to casting it in general. Since casting it (for the first time in the Nemnok fight) Soul Whip has been setting focus to the damage dealt instead of adding that to my focus total. At first I figured it would resolve itself after combat had ended, but this is not the case. As an interesting side effect, Soul Blade doesn't remove focus anymore, so I can spam it for ever increasing focus and damage. Not that this behavior (any of it) is desired, but it is interesting. On a side note, casting Reaping Knives on an ally seems to have fixed the problem. Edited June 23, 20187 yr by nstgc
June 23, 20187 yr Hey nstgc, You have this tagged as solved, just wanted to clarify if it is or not. Is it indeed tied to Reaping Knives? Id still like to get this looked into by someone for expected outcome. Best, -Caleb I like big bugs and I cannot lie...
June 24, 20187 yr Author Hey nstgc, You have this tagged as solved, just wanted to clarify if it is or not. Is it indeed tied to Reaping Knives? Id still like to get this looked into by someone for expected outcome. Best, -Caleb Yes. It is indeed caused by Reaping Knives. I don't know if it is reproducible, but I can tell you the order of events that caused it for me. 1) Cast RK on the caster (Not possible without a mod) 2) The result is that instead of focus being added, it is reset. 2a) So if an attack does 40 damage, then focus is set to 40. 2b) If another attack does 30 damage, then instead of having 70 focus, you have 30. 2c) This lasts even after restarting the game, and changing locations 3) To fix it, simply cast the spell on someone other than the caster (normal usage).
