Hello, I have just downloaded the outer worlds to notice that the keybindings on the right hand side of the keyboard IJKL or locked. I know of quite a few people who are left handed that use these keys for WASD, and it makes sense, as they are the mirrored keys, if you are using a left handed mouse. It's very difficult for me to play without this setup and I have actually moved my textured WASD keys on my keyboard across OKL: Can this be looked into and patched ASAP? it seems fairly pointless and limiting for absolutely no reason. It also takes a number of players away from your game. I definitely won't be going back to it until it's addressed. Thank you, Craig -
I'm on linux and I cannot use the "space" key to paus/unpause and the default keybindings for the map, inventory, character, aso. What does work is stealth (Ctrl), the tab key and escape. When I try to set a keybinding only a few keys work and none of the letters (it just stays "Set" and waits for input). I downloaded the game from GOG. I tried to attach a Player.log file to this post, but I get a "Error You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file" -
I have a question about keybindings. I'm left handed and I use right hand on the keyboard and specifically the keypad for as the primary spot to bind key around. That leaves me the keypad and the keys around that. My problem is that It appears that if NUM lock is on it always selects the numbered assigned to a party member and then it will do the keybinding set to a action. I have started to use a another program to rebind my input keys and because there are a number of games that have kind of the same issue. I know this issue was in the original game so I know a workaround for my self to fix the problem. The only issue on a tech side that I have seen so far that has bugged me. Also totally off topic BUT I love the game I just wish I beat the first one before starting this game. -
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if Obsidian staff read/monitor these forums? Either way, I have the PC version of the game, as I do the majority of my gaming on PC and the last thing I thought I would have to worry about was whether the game would have the option to change keybinds or not >.> Being left handed and USING my left hand on the mouse means I rebind all my keys to the opposite side of the keyboard (IJKL instead of WASD). I was just wondering if there was ANY way possible for me to get past this road block? I simply can't just swap my mouse to the other side of the keyboard, not only because it's awkward for me, but I have the left handed Razer mouse, so it's also very uncomfortable trying to play like it. I know there's many lefties who do play the "regular" way, so I'm an even bigger minority, but hey, there's gaming mouses (mice?) for lefties, so I can't be the only one, right? lol. I've been trying to play using WASD but it's very awkward and I'm not enjoying the game anywhere near as much as I could be if I could simply change my movement keys. Thanks for reading anyway, I really hope someone can help me with a solution (other than buying a new mouse and teaching myself to play right handed >.>).
