  1. I think the project eternity will be using the Unity framework as its basis. Just a little curious, why Unity? Does anyone have a link to an article or an interview where the devs specifically discussed the reasoning behind their decision? I'm always interested in new game development technologies, and it would be interesting to hear what kind of reasoning went into deciding on Unity for project eternity.
  2. Not sure why, but I'm averaging around 10 frames per second when playing NWN2 on my system. All settings are set to their lowest value. I verified that it's using my Nvidia card instead of the onboard GPU. I have tried restarting and playing. I have also installed the community patch. I've done fresh installs, but I still around 10 FPS. Any help would be wonderful. Windows 7 SP 1 i5-2450 @2.50GHz 8gb Ram Nvidia GT 630M, Driver ver. 375.70 Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete (latest GOG version)
  3. I was just having a discussion with my wife, after having some time to really sink my teeth into Pillars last weekend and this weekend, just how advanced is technology is some places of Eora? We have pistols, blunderbuss's and the arquebus which gives me real vibes of another really good RPG, Arcanum. As well as things like the monocle, which is just cheesy cool! But on topic, do we know how advanced some parts of the world are? Are we talking ships with cannons, steam power? Gliders? Or is the entire place in roughly the late middle ages?
  4. Reporting something that isn't making a lot of sense to me. First relevant files https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxD6SDYMR-VWdmhjRjZ6eUJEMEk/view?usp=sharing (sharing is for anyone with link to view) I have added a .zip file of approx 2MB to my above google drive link containing a screenshot of the issue (which also shows selected graphics options) output logs and specs, and my 3 save games. (none of which are saved from after the issue. Booting up the game the first two-three times it was fine. Today I have booted it up 4 or five times and it insists on removing widescreen and showing a squared off box, I can't disable full screen (or I can but it doesn't apply it even after exiting the game entirely). I have two wide rectangular lines down either side of my game screen and a smaller grey rectangle down at the bottom of the right hand side. As to the steps taken to achieve this, I opened the game. my saves were fine and it was only today it's done it. Anyone have an idea on how to get my wonderful widescreen back (it is really annoying when the cursor stops being active from too quickly going over those borders another minor issue) The game is playable but I'm finding it really really irritating after I was enjoying it so much on widescreen. changing resolutions doesn't fix it I've noticed, nor does fiddling with the settings tick boxes.
