  1. But I had to bug it to win. I killed the two caster adds in the back, which puts you in combat but doesnt aggro anything. Then I AoE'd the xuatips till they ran to me but the boss doesn't move. Once all the adds were dead i summoned a single mob to trigger the Dragon's aoe stomp? i dunno it apparently ignores armor, then followed it up with more summons to eat the breath. Finally I could send my characters in and buffed up my tanks with every cleric spell possible. I summoned more guys using my chanter and had my druid just spam Raw spells on him as i watched my tanks get 2 shot through every buff. He turned to the summons instead of my characters and finally was able to whittle him down with grazes. He died. Summary: This boss is TOTAL BULLONEY. Imagine Firkragg with undisspellable Stoneskin, surrounded by Dire Charm spamming adds, one shotting anything he looks at, and if you aren't in melee range he drops a nuke.
  2. So if you want to play the story to the fullest, don't be Godlike. Thus story ruiner if you are one.
  3. Since you can't wear helms as a Godlike, there is a part in the story underneath First Fires or the 2nd lvl of Catacombs that requires a special helm to be worn to infiltrate succesfully. Since you are Godlike, you don't get the option.
  4. Because there is no respeccing, hiring an adventure mid level is inefficient, and nothing during the first half of the game hinted this would be the preferred playstyle.
  5. I am just getting plain swarmed by monsters. It's not like the beginning when it was 2-3 monsters, or Raedrics Castle with chokepoints, no it's just 5-7 monsters swarming over my tank and spilling onto my squishies. My tank can't pick them all up, my barb and rogue go down in almost 3 hits, and my caster's debuffs are so important I can't be wasting them with CC (seriously Druid Nature's Mark is OP as all get out if you want to land any sort of damage spell). I feel like the only viable thing I can do is rock a Paladin/Chanter tank combo with a Barb w/ extra reach weapon. The melee's have to wait SO LONG before the enemies finally settle in to place around my tank. Had to vent but is anyone else feeling this way? ESPECIALLY on the dragon.
  6. Correction... it is not just the siegeworks but the entire castle zone. I can move around in every part of the castle but I can't exit now w/o crashing. I can access it from different characters however.
  7. I zoned in, looted the stuff and when I went down the stairs back into the Armory it crashed. Loaded game before entering platform, went up platform and crash. Load earlier than that, zone around freely no crashes. Reapproached stairs to Siege, walked up and crash. I have been here earlier on another character and have not had this happen but there seems to be no way around it, I can't enter the Siege Platform. The loading screen occurs but when it comes to loading the graphics either TO or FROM the platform it crashes.

  9. But if I'm forced to pick two of the following three: all promised features, high level of quality, on time -- "on time" is almost always going to be the thing I'd prefer to sacrifice. On many of the projects I've been a part of "level of quality" has been the thing sacrificed, and I've almost never had a say in it. That right there is all I needed to hear. After buying into the hype of D:OS and MM:X and being thrown into their buggy/confusing/pointless class nature, I for one am appluading delaying release. You got to look at it like this: why settle for a dollar today (buggy mess) when you can get 100 dollars in a few months (actual finished game).
  10. I didn't see anyone post about this but I found only two E3 interviews on youtube and no mention of this on the front page. So, here they are! I like how Josh gives very in depth answers and not some practiced corporate answers that answer nothing.

The SSL certificate for eternity.obsidian.net valid 4 months ago at Nov 26 00:00:00 2013 GMT. This is before the heartbleed bug was published, it may need to be regenerated. Should I be worried about this password Obsidian?
  12. WOOT! I can't believe my very first post got a developer response. Thats awesome haha. I'm glad you guys already took this into account and I am now sure there is nothing to worry about if details as small as this have been looked at!
  13. I know its super late to talk about game design now, but this just ircked me so much playing through these games. Dungeon corridors. MY GOSH they are tiny. I would wait another year past this game's release date if they didn't have dungeons like that. Firewine Ruins lol. The Slums. Sewers part 2. The Maze. uhhhh everywhere that isn't outdoors? I felt like making a youtube video with some EPIC music as my guys would walk back and forth in front of the same doorway or take absurd paths with 0% chance of reaching the destination. Epic zoom-ins too of course. Now I know this isn't the same game on the same engine, but its from the same guys made in the spirit of the same games. lf there is terrible pathing and tight corridors that would really be a shame for this game because it made my playthrough much less enjoyable than it should have been.
