  1. In reply to Drakon's post: 1. there will be more complex side-missions inside, loads of them too. And if it is Fed-Ex you can be assured that you will meet the goal while traveling for the main part. It's not like MW where you had to travel 30 minutes, totally away from any other mission/main plot. Also Teleporters and Teleport spells make sure that every "Fed-Ex" mission can be done fast, totally ignoring any distance barrier 2. Well, if you forget everything that is said within 5 min... Then, yes. It's not like you have to be fully attentional and make notes about everything said and such, but you do have to keep alert to follow the main plot (like almost all RPG's with Story (KOTOR for example)) 3. Then you have to be happy they included a new method too after complaints about this during the Beta period... 4. Well, personal choise here then, but I prefer together story... Also note BG and IWD are not Hack&Slash, making together traveling a large bit different than in DS2 5. Well, not only surprise you... That is mainly just in the beginning. Some AI Tactics: Attacking the Healers Some creatures go "Postal" if a certain action is done (like drinking a potion) making them more dangerous They protect their own healers/reviver/healer And this are just some of them...
  2. @ Musopticon? @ Drakon: 1. Far less than with Diablo 2, Dungeon Siege or even KOTOR... (From your description every quest becomes a Fed Ex quest in any games anyways) 2. Yes, the journal also gives the given goals. But if you miss the convo, you usually miss detailed description how to get to your goal and what to do their, plus the reason why you should go there... 3. The combat in DS2 was supposed to be like Diablo 2, hold to attack. Old DS-players complained and now it will feature these and various combat-ways of the old one... 4. So, what do you say? Diablo style online (Kill untill the next level) is way better? 5. What is "Zerg Rush Tactics" supposed to mean? @ Role-Player Do not confuse which part is about Dungeon Siege and which is about Dungeon Siege 2..., as you seem to do
  3. Well, they have changed it alot. Such a lot that "Hardcore Dungeon Siege Fans" complained about (a grasp): * The huge amount of Sub-Quests (comparable to the total amount of quests in KOTOR2 or more) * The fact you got stuck in storyline if you didn't pay attention to the conversations (you know, WTF should I do? Even when said so) * Overhaul of the combat system, thus causing them to have 3 different inside you can switch between to suit your needs * The fact that MP focusses more on being a party doing the story together, than try to slash everything in sight for lvl's... * The fact that the AI tries to surround you and surprise you instead of walking into their arms
  4. Well, thanks for the story, but if there is no clear point of discussion it seems the spam tries to take over... You're right...
  5. It's here now... I noticed something was wrong when it appeared in Spoilers
  6. Well, we went off topic, alot And since most things that could be discussed are discussed, this one goes locked...
  7. Well, one of the easiest ways to see if it works, is just adding 2 to your Wisdom through items and see if your Defense goes up by 1...
  8. A list of all ingame robes http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=35881 And about that quest, it is on Nar Shaddaa, if you give the right code to the incoming ships, Fossa rewards you with something based on your level. So it seems like 40+ he will give these valuable robes.
  9. If nothing works... Uninstall and reinstall - Without 1.0B, since that causes the bug
  10. Graphics are way better Some of the voice acting were placeholders Storyline is the best seen in any Hack&Slash And, well, the combat thing is personal. Don't like Hold to Attack?
  11. Yep... Even though I have already completed 70% of the Demo...
  12. Even before he posted it... You've got the gift What do you mean by that? Well, you posted that before he posted that comment... Or, if you mean "You've got the gift"; I just heard that somewhere in a movie or game, I don't remember which one, but it means that you got special "super-natural" powers, like knowing what people post before they post...
  13. Even before he posted it... You've got the gift
  14. Yes also note the AC-Bonus is already included in the total (as displayed on both inventory and character screen), so unless you equip +wis items for atleast +2 (1 modifier) you will see no difference, since the difference is already inside... Also it won't up suddenly by *wis modifier* in battle, since it is already in the total Always...
  15. Nihilus Betrayed. Nihilus hunted for you (atleast that's what supposed to be, if the actual action wasn't cut), Nihilus also failed her...
  16. Did Fionavar got his own game? "
  17. Well, they could just have scrapped Sion and gave Nihilus this role. Gave him a bit more hard-needed play-time too...
  18. Since the topic doesn't allow for discussion and is also hard to answer, it is better to close this one. But not before the possible answers you were looking for: You want to have a lightsaber faster? Play Jedi Academy Want lightsaber in KOTOR2? Fastest way is on the first "Random" planet, or mods
  19. Yeah, such things happen. I had a convo with Kodin on Nar Shaddaa and had Bao-Dur and Atton with me. Bao-Dur said something, so I could buy something cheaper, and thanked him for it. Influence Lost: T3-M4 EDIT: Also another fun time. I was with HK-47 and Kreia in the Sub-levels of Dantooine... I was Male (Important!!!) I opened the door for Jarren and then slaughtered him... Then the screen zoomed to Disciple, while he said "What did I do", even when he didn't do anything, was still on his original place, and I was male... Also this caused a Influence Lost: Desciple, Not that I cared abit about that though (why should I :D )
  20. That's odd. Next time (With Precognision) strip yourself from all items and take a beating (NO Force Powers, stims, shields and such). Then head for the Quest tab, feedback, then click Combat. You will see XXX attacked (PC's Name) with Attack XX VS. Defense XX Scroll down to the Defense Breakdown. You will see something like this: Defense Breakdown: 33 = Base 10 + dex mod 3 + class 18 + feats and effects mod 2 Now let's breakdown the breakdown; Base: Always given Dex mod: Modifier of Dexterity (+3, 16 in this case) Class: This one is the added bonus of Prestige Sense and Greater Prestige Sense Feats and effects: BATTLE PRECOGNISITION (In my case +2, 14) It does work
  21. You checked the AC on the ship itself? It is a known bug that, if you check AC on the Ebon Hawk, it will be a fixed number... All members have the same number, despite what they wear... Oops :"> It would be better if it was 12, with all these mega-bonusses everywhere..., but that doesn't make me less wrong in the last post
  22. 14 Wis, that would be +2 modifier So +2 AC... Note that Battle Precognition adds the modifier to AC, not that number (14) [Query]: Would your AC decrease with this Power and 8 Wis??? (EDIT: Fixed the numbers... :"> Base is 10)
  23. The Fourth Jedi Master is Vash, lying in a pool of her own blood in Korriban... I never seen that model ingame, did you search the files for it, or is it a mod? EDIT: K, after the post beneath I understand why you say Jedi Master 4
  24. Is Padme, or Leia pixels? :D
  25. If you use stealth, and approach the 2 saying "You won't sneak on us" in the Flophouse, you'll get a mission. Now you can buy Juma Juice from the Cantina. There pick Handmaiden/Mira to dance for Vogga. When Vogga sleeps put the Juma Juice in the dish Rob the place (Reward: Lightsaber)
