  1. In Sydney we have been told Feb 15th. *Roars like an angry wookie*. And 15th is a Tuesday so I have to wait till the weekend to buy it (school)! It's not fair! HK-47: Report: Overload! Overload! You will regret this Meatbag! Lloydya; The Jedi Master
  2. I've changed my mind: I think I shall say Bioware. Obsidian probably made a better game than the original, true. If not better, then the game was easily just as good (this is from what I have read, I don't have KoTOR II yet!) however BIOWARE was the one to make the original KoTOR, not Obsidian. If Obsidian had been given the job of making KoTOR I, would it be as good and successful? They would have done one of the best jobs on the planet, no doubt about that but would it have been as good? 39 game of the year awards is hard to achieve and it would have been hard for Obsidian to get that, no matter how good it is. Bioware was the original maker of the engine and the whole general idea of KoTOR, not to mention the storyline and characters. Sorry Obsidian, but I am voting with Bioware!
  3. Well I am fairly new to this forum so I would like to do it again. Besides, there are other new people to the forum who have not seen it before. And most (I think ALL but I won't go that far) of the other KoTOR III topics are to do with storyline issues or bug issues. And if you don't want to post, don't. I will make my decision about who should make KoTOR III based on people's votes in a couple of days.
  4. I am sorry about the poll coming up four times, my computer had an error. get rid of the other ones. keep this one. As for the actual topic, I am unable to decide on who to make KoTOR III. I will be until I play KoTOR II and am able choose between Obsidian and Bioware because I have never played an Obsidian product.
  5. I was just wondering... Although it is not official (fan sites DO NOT count as official, only when LA or the game maker says it is coming out it is official), who do YOU want to make KoTOR III? 1. No offence to Bioware Corp. whatsoever. They did a FANTASTIC job with KoTOR I and started the magnificent series. This game won 39 game of the year awards! 2. No offence to Obsidian Net. I have not had the opportunity to play KoTOR II (PC comes out Feb 15th in Sydney, Australia) however, from what I hear, the game is just as good, the graphics is just as good and the storyline is just as good. More force powers, new characters (more characters too) and outstanding new features such as effecting NPCs force alignment, etc. However, I was wondering, who would YOU rather to make KoTOR III. Ultimately, it is most likley Obsidian but curiosity will prevail and I will make this poll.

  9. I was just wondering who everyone thought had the deepest, human (just use that term despite the fact that there are aliens), most realistic personality. Who thought their type of character was convincing enough to make you fall in love with Bastilla (in the game) or to be good buddies with Canderous because of his fun attitude towards war, death and destruction. Or who had the most heart-breaking past and the saddest backstory that made you weep for Carth or be determined to help Zaalbar rescue his people from the Czerka Corp. slavers on Kashyyk. Or who fell asleep listening to Juhani's boring stories and could not care less about her. Or who ignored the wisdom of Kreia or Jolee in spite of their old age or endless ramblings? It was just a question I was interested in that I wondered what everyone else thought. For me personally, Carth has the deepest personality and heart-breaking back-story. I become good buddies with Carth and he often fights along side me in battle against the Sith. I do the romance with Bastila, feel sorry for Carth, help Zaalbar on Kashyyk, ignore Mission's whining and fall asleep listening to Juhani, if I don't kill her . What does everyone else think?
  10. Thankyou for bringing us this information KotorianRuler!!! We Kotorians are grateful. If anyone finds any information on a release date, details of the game, etc, please share it in this topic! Also, who is making it? Lucasarts and Bioware or Lucasarts and Obsidian? Lloydya; The Kotorian Apprentice
  11. Revan just showed Malak the power of the Sith teachings and Malak begged like a panting puppy and Revan made Malak his apprentice.
  12. I do not understand how ten people (6.54%) could NOT get the game! I mean, even if X-Box has some problems it still is the great story, the amazing everything. I just can't get over KoTOR!!! I am going to buy KoTOR II the day it comes out, when I get home from school. When I get it... SCREW MATHS HOMEWORK! Sorry, couldn't resist. Basically, !!!
  13. We must include Meatbags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To understand, read my signature... My Two Cents... Lloydya; The Jedi Master
  14. Great sigs, thanks Kotorianruler. I might use those but I like the one I have at the moment. Nothing like HK-50 and HK-47!
  15. The entire conversation with Bastila on the Rakatan Temple on the Unknown World was stupid. The dailog should have been based on your current alignment. Pure light only has lightside options. Middle light has lightside options but a spec of thought of the other but it is difficult to choose the dark path. Only just on the lightside should allow you to either stay on the lightside or darkside just as easily. Neutral is same as before. Only just on the darkside is the same as before. Middle darkside has a spec of thought on redemption but it is hard to choose lightside so pretty muc h only darkside options. Pure darkside is only darkside options. This is how they should have done it in KoTOR I, hopefully how they havel done it in KoTOR II and how they will do it in KoTOR III (my Kotorian instincts tell me there shall be a third).
  16. All Kotorians can tell there shall be a third, by popular demand.
  17. I did hear that there were 3 new Jedi Classes, one is the same idea as guardian, one similar to sentinel and one similar to consular. In that case, I will pick Guardian/whatever. I heard there was Watchman which is like a sentinel but really I don't know. Just Jedi Guardian and primary combat class for me! Besides, I go with what I am similar to and Jedi Guardian is just like me in real life so meh. I'm happy with my choice.
  18. I heard that they're not going to release the game there until you take back Colin Farrell, theres no room for him since we already have Ben *Actlack* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> huh? what are you talking about? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I checked with my local Electronic Boutique and it is the 15th of February in NSW and i think it is the same for VIC and QLD. I am not sure. Well, it is the 15th of Feb in NSW, that's for sure. This is on PC.
  19. KoTOR I = Brilliant start to a trilogy with an ending like Episode IV (assuming you were LS). KoTOR II = A more mysterious ending, the middle point of the trilogy but is it not like Episode V? With the Rebels at the edge of the galaxy, Luke getting his new hand and Leia watching Lando and Chewie going after Han? KoTOR III = Let's hope it raps up nicely with a brilliant ending and hope it is even better than Episode VI. The Sith, the "True Sith", every evil Sith destroyed. Nice little ending. KoTOR IV = Now, this could be either hundreds of years after KoTOR III, everything will be new. This would be nice and a good storyline. Perhaps we could fight in the war that Darth Bane fought in to destroy most of the Sith and change their ways so there are only ever two Sith? That would be a good storyline era. Or, KoTOR IV could be set in a decade or so before KoTOR I and be fighting in the Mandalorian Wars, like Lucas made Episode VI go to Episode I. Who knows? KoTOR V and KoTOR VI = The storyline depends on whether it is in the Darth Bane era, another Sith time era or the before KoTOR I era. Either it is a nice secure ending or if it is set before KoTOR I, a nice cliff-hanger for KoTOR I. Just a thought.
  20. I used the random generator and I came up with some good ones: Danny Tora, etc. But the one I really liked was Hanis Drackin. Don't ask why, I just caught on to that and that is what I used. It works for LS as Hanis could mean giving a helping hand and it works well for DS as Drackin is like draining something or Dracula. For a female, I use Shayla Tantra (random generator found that one for me too). Tantra = tantrum, darkside. I don't know if Shayla has a lightside meaning but the women face generations I pick look nice and Lightsidey so I just stick with that for some reason.
  21. Unless KoTOR II is ten times more difficult than KoTOR I, Level 50 would suck. Let me explain: KoTOR I was incredibly easy. Defeating Malak on the Star Forge was a picnic. I mean, it took me something like a week (probably less) to finish the game as lightside and another couple of days for darkside. Once I was at Level 20, no number of enemies stood in my way. So, KoTOR II better be a lot harder than KoTOR I so when I do reach Level 50 I do not just walk through it all in five minutes. However, this is unlikely. No offence to Obsidian but I always make my character as tough as possible. Jedi Guardian all the way! If KoTOR II difficulty is really more difficult than KoTOR I then I might accept 30 but 50! I have a PC so I will see when I buy it (February 15th for Sydney) I hope that it is not a push over. Ultimately, we shall see. I just hope it is difficult even on Level 50. If it is the same as, similar or just a bit like KoTOR I's difficulty, Level 50 sucks because it shall be too easy. Even on the hardest difficulty setting.
  22. The One was the hardest. Bastila on the Star Forge was too easy and Malak was a pinch. I never used stims or energy shields or med-pacs, just my lightsaber and force points! And the difficulty level was on difficult. The One and all his rancors... But if Bastila had not been there on Taris, Brejik would have easily wasted me. My Two Cents... Lloydya; The Jedi Master
