  1. Our Lizard Overlords has sent his representative to my place again... ;)

Not really, but I was delighted to see that my matted glass window next to my front door has yet again become home to a gecko at night. Little guy just seems have worked out a good deal there, sitting and waiting for insects to be attracted by the light. Sometimes I even leave the light on at night just for its benefit. Yeah, I'm silly like that sometimes.

I remember first time living in Brisbane a few years ago and never been to QLD before. Walking in the kitchen and seeing a gecko run across the benchtop scared the bejeezus out of me. They're pretty good at cleaning up pests. Never saw a ****roach or spider when I was there. However, in Sydney... Really need this things down here. And they're pretty cute too.

  2. Well they are or the prof sees it (and bought some students attempt to push it back, I suspect). Just not seeing why it's worth your notice.

Why do I need to give a reason what I post? I'm not going to give a reason on 'why it's worth my notice'. Try again.

A new phenomenon has hit the country - The Triggering is in full swing.

Wonder why people are so bothered by this kind of thing. Other than some generational hard man grousing

You'd have to ask the students why they are so bothered by it. Maybe you'll get your answer then.

  4. We didn't let our memes be dreams. What a ride it's been. It was truly an honour to s**tpost alongside the rest of you s**tposters. We've done it. 4 chan is now president. All the media, all the celebrities, all the political establishment together couldn't beat one s**tlord.

I go to bed knowing when I wake up tomorrow, I will bathe in those glorious tears of liberals, SJWs and cuckservatives.

  5. First week of bootcamp is done. 7 more weeks to go.  The instructors (about 4 or 5) are actually life guards and some compete in the ironman events. Training on the beach at 5.30am, doing push ups, sit ups, star jumps, running, more push ups and other stuff. I'm going to sleep well tonight.

  6. Spring is here and decided to start one of those Bootcamp Training groups that runs for a couple of months to get back into shape for Summer. 40 other people including myself turned up at 5.30am and thought there's a variety of people here. I should do okay since I've been doing some exercise over the last couple of weeks in preparation for this. I felt pretty good.

Holy crap this was hard. Looks can be deceiving because everyone else was pretty fit, including the women. Coming 41st wasn't encouraging but at least I can't go any lower.

Also, there were only 4 or 5 new people including myself. All the rest were returning regulars so I can understand why they're so fit. I've done similar bootcamps in the past but this was by far the hardest.

  7. Have to admit Calax, I'm a bit stumped on why you're going with the more expensive second hand car (~12K) than a cheaper second hand car (~2-3K). Burdening yourself with more debt on something I consider to be one of the worst things you could be putting money into sounds a little crazy to me. I would be taking the second option, get a cheap second hand car and save that extra money. But it's your decision.

  8. Do you have to get such an expensive car though? Would'nt it be better to get some sort of "beater" or similar that you can get to get from point a to b?

Quoting Azdeus here. You can't get an old second hand car?

My first car cost $4000 and had it for a few years. Second car was a 10 year old Toyota Camry which lasted me a few years too.
