My game freezes every time I try to go to Czerka compound and steal their droid. I have tried loading multiple games to clear the cache and also not saving before entering but to no avail. I am running a very old X box, un-modded. My copy is fine as I have returned it and since gotten a new one. I have not tried to run the disc on another X box that might be newer as all my friends also have old box's. I can't really think of any more " need to know " information about my problem. If anyone has any soloution's or possible fixes I will receive them with open arm's. I loved the first game alot, and so far I only have found frustration and that's about it.

Could people list here on this thread ways they know of to get around the " black screen of death. " ? If we had a comprehensive list maybe it would help people out abit easier? Thanks in advance and no flames please! :D

I have an old, old, old X box like 2001 series. Am I doomed to frozen screens? Alhough the only reason I would complain is because this game is friggin awesome, and just dissapointed I can't play it.

Thanks for that! Any suggestion how I can go start the quest to get the droid from Czerka on telos? I mean it froze as soon as I area transitioned into their compound. The screen went blank right after I loaded it.

I tried calling them too. Lot of good that did. I just left a message asking how they managed to let all of these bugs in. It was a nice message though, not a stupid one where I acted like an idiot. Meh I hope they do something.

My copy freezes when I try to save at random points. I cannot enter the Czerka office to steal their droid as the game freezes EVERY SINGLE TIME. I love this game but, talk about frustrating. I have just put it down and won't pick it up until it get's fixed. Thank Jeebus for Halo 2.

Aye, the glitches I have seen so far are quite irratating. Freezing in the middle of a save or getting the black screen of death trying to enter a new area. Come on man. I am all about being patient, so hopefully Obsidian can rectify this. ( And soon. )

I am having mega issues with the black screen of death locking up and owning me. Seriously it is quite frustrating. Not only has money been wasted but time as well. Is there any sure fix to stop the game from freezing? For me it is freezing in Telos when I am trying to acquire the greeter droid from Czerka Corporation. After I get the engineer papers it freezes EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to enter Czerka compound. Come on Obsidian, help a brother out!
