harsh critics are the only real critics, and I prefer it that way. thing is I forgot what songs were up there haha, those are mainly my newest rock songs, which I wrote to be catchy rock songs, my radio friendly stuff. alittle bit like the strokes, alittle different, my previous stuff was alot more psychedlic and more experimental, but I decided I needed a direction ColdPlay-Warning Sign

for me...the melody of the music is ALOT more improtant than the lyrics..but I dont mean the hook...I could care less about hooks....classical music had no hooks...but the melodies could strike u in ways lyrics and hooks couldnt.... thats why I like alot of bands that can sing falcetto and I incoorperate that with my music too... I try to mix good music with good lyrics...sometimes I'll make traditional music with much better lyrics, and sometimes I do vice versa..its all about range... Noone will ever write better lyrics than Bob dylan, tho, I dont care what ANYONE says about that

hmmm....yea foo fighters will never be better than nirvana....my theory is it doesnt matter how well u play ur instrument...its the songs that matter....thats why john lennon was better than paul mcartney...john wasnt a better singer, but he wrote better songs....as does kurt vs. dave grohl hmm....audioslave is better than soundgarden..but rage against the machine was better than adioslave....zach was an angry mutha and with toms guitar work, they were funky and awesome. besides that....most music now-a-days sucks anyways...I'd much rather take the beatles over the (current rock band hit) tho there are a few exceptions for me.... I'm impressed with The Shins, The dissociatives, Radiohead, The Strokes (not hard music to play but catchy and not everything needs to be different) and Coldplay is decent...eh...and jump little children is good too

true, but LA got inundated with Revan talk after K1. to not make ANY mention of Revan would have been problematic, too. so, we have a dilemma: a trilogy that was not paced to be a trilogy or a pseudo-trilogy with different PCs for all three games...they both have advantages and disadvantages. I would LOVE for KOTOR 3 be a non-epic, standalone SW RPG....but they just can't do that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Non-epic and Star wars does not go together my friend... go...play star trek....thats right...I said it

yeah that's what people complained baout fight night at first...but if u actually play the game u get used to it and it's ALOT easier.... and it makes for a great game, and good visuals...and most of all, realistic control.... if people would complain about that system...then they need to stop complaining about hack and slash games because thats the other direction lol

Ok, I haven't been at these boards for awhile now, I just started coming back again, and I had a question. Has there been any new information on K3? Not ideas for how people think the game should be, but actual hardcore facts...like are they going to make it? And whose they, whose making the game?..if it's going to be made at all?

I thought it was alittle rushed at first too, but the more you think about it makes sense.... Ok, so you just backstabbed and helped murder the second most powerful jedi on the high council, to save your pregnant wife from death...no matter what happens you are in huuuge trouble, you'll be kicked out of the Jedi and lots of bad stuff is coming...on the other hand the person you helped out is the DARK LORD OF THE SITH, who has been manipulating you all these years, now you have mixed feelings of hate, and need for him...You need him to save your wife, who is the only person you have left...if you try to go against Sidious your most likely going to get ur ass handed to you...at this stage...so you have to swear yourself to his teachings to save padme, and live...for now...later he probably planned to kill the emperor just like he said, cuz he hates him, but he fears him and needs him at the same time.... so you've got to make a desicion FAST..... plus the fact that anakin has hate in his heart for a long time and fear of loss...he's obviously not the perfect jedi...he's been on the verge of the darkside for awhile.... the turn isnt so rushed when u think of it that way...its nessessary

I guess the reasons aren't so obvious but whatever... I think they should handle the saber mechanics in the star wars video games from now on, using the fight night full control analog style...that would be awesome. Dodging attacks by ducking and strafing and weaving, and then parrying the attacks and blocking, counterattacks, combos, power attacks, lowblows and illegal shots (like punching and kicking) would work fine, it's all there! They should totally do that!

I don't know if this has been thrown out there before, if so, sorry, but an idea has come to me. With the news of the Star Wars tv series that will be coming out, that deals with Darth Vader and what happens between episode 3 and 4....I thought that might be an even more interesting video game. Either do it like the Jedi Knight games, or maybe even an RPG like KOTOR... You play as Darth Vader and your party could be a mix of bounty hunters, Storm Troopers, or something more creative that I dont feel like going into. But either way, that would be a cool idea, you play as Vader, and wipe out the rest of the jedi and etc. and take part in the jedi Purge...and maybe even report to palpatine after some missions are completed, and he can give you further knowledge....? What do you guys think?

I was going to say the exact same thing! He created it and others helped him flesh it out... Tolkien created LOTR and all that stuff in ww1 and didnt get it fleshed out by others...thats why his early works and rough drafts about the creation of the elves and etc. go on and on and on and are sloppy as hell...not very exciting stuff.. I think it's so funny when people say Lucas doesnt know waht Star wars is...lol ITS HIS STORY....U DONT KNOW WHAT STAR WARS IS, let HIM show YOU and then get a LIFE cuz its a movie and u shouldnt get heated over that stuff....maybe when u guys get famous u can start calling shots ;-)
