I was hoping for this to come out since the campaign started! I think adding more complexity to the companion relationships will be a great addition to game content.

It doesn't necessarily have to be romantic, but it could be. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I think the romances and extra companion interactions that were added to Baldur's Gate II were one of the things that helped elevate that game from Baldur's Gate. I think it could do the same thing for Pillars.

I feel that this is one of the things that brought Baldur's Gate II to a higher level than Baldur's Gate. I think it would do the same for Pillars.
