  1. I got a mail from Paradox stating: Haven't received anything yet and there ain't a tracking number, any ideas?
  2. You might want to look up what such words mean before you further make an ass out of yourself, just saying. https://www.aclu.org/free-speech/what-censorship http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/censorship http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/censorship http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship What was done is literally censorship by all definitions. Here are two short essays by two famous authors (George Orwell and Ray Bradbury) on how some of the worst censorship doesn't come from the government, but from society e.g. people like that Twitter **** or the laughable "gaming journalists" that support them: http://www.rjgeib.com/thoughts/451/451.html http://www.brainpickings.org/2013/08/16/the-freedom-of-the-press-george-orwell/ Also an interesting article in relation to games: http://venturebeat.com/2014/12/17/anti-censorship-group-sees-apples-steams-control-over-expression-in-apps-and-games-as-dangerous/ with the NCAC answering questions to confused people like you: http://ncac.org/
  3. The explanation is PR horse****. It's pretty clear what's caused it, two factors: J.E. Sawyer and Twitter outrage, and now you've empowered a crazy person to come after you more and even stronger: This was a rather great great post by a developer from a few days ago as to what "outrage culture" like this does to creative writing, specifically in relation to his game: http://elysianshadows.com/updates/how-recent-outrages-made-me-question-my-writing/ Now I'm going to constantly have to ask myself what design decisions and what writing, plot or questlines have been dumbed down and altered for the sake of "not offending anyone", what parts of the world ignore common sense for the sake of "inclusivity" and what topics will deliberately not be touched upon for the same reasons. This is all rather perplexing, because the last game by Obsidian I played had fetus nazi zombies in it and giving the player the ability to perform abortions (last I remember nazis killed lots of people and abortion is a rather contentious topic) and even PoE has allusions and plot elements regarding genocide, rape, prejudice, matricide etc. What else will you remove from the game because someone felt "triggered" or decided to throw a Twitter ****storm?
  4. I assume there are merchants that offer differing sale prices for items, at least compared to the caravan vendor in the first area and afaik a developer. Any idea which merchant/vendor offers the best prices for items sold or what influences their pricing?
  5. I'll just add my vote that I will lose a lot of respect for them if they give in to the "offended" brigade. This shouldn't even be a consideration. They just released a game with fetus nazi zombies in it giving the player the ability to perform abortions and even PoE has allusions and plot elements regarding genocide, rape, prejudice, matricide etc. **** these people and everything they stand for. Being "offended" over something doesn't mean anything and doesn't give them any rights to change the content for everyone else or override the original Backers wishes.
