Where was this prophesy stated? Is this in one of the previews for KOTOR or something, because I've never seen it before now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I also missed that bit of dialog... and i was pretty good about reading and listing too. Go figure. Anyway, if this was an in game prophecy of KoToR, WHY wouldn't it be Reven? I don't care HOW much you hate him, it's HIS game, and the prophecy is spoken in HIS game, so why won't it be about HIM? Seems reasonable to me. And honestly, your bashing of reven is unfair, becasue he's a videogame toon, one ment to be customizable, so of course he's Faceless, and Genderless. And being a video game, of course he won't have the powers your discriabing, emploding a sun and controlling a 1000 Jedi, what kind of challage would the game be if he could? Not to mention the fact that we have no idea what reven was REALLY like when he was the dark lord... we really only see his reborn weakling state. Your trying to compare videogame toons to comic book toons to movie char's, and it's not a fair comparison cause they can't play by the same rules. Movies are limited by Special effects and time, Video games limit what can be done, inorder to maintane balance and game challange, and to keep you on track to tell the story they want to get acrouss, and books/comic toons are pretty limitless in what they can do, because times isn't a limiting factor, nor is Special effects. Comic and book guys will always come off LOOKING more powerful because they CAN, not because they ARE. KingSnake.

This is exactly why companies DO lie to their customers. Because people will rationalize it and give excuses for the company instead of actually saying "you know, what they are doing is wrong". Of course companies are going to keep lying to the public if half the people have this "oh well, all companies lie" attitude. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, companies lie because they CAN without reprocrussion. Rationalizeation has nothing to do with it, it's the lack of REPROCUSSION thats the problem. There is no LEGEL reprocussion to "lieing" becasue they haven't "lied". All release dates are best guesses, and that's it. And you can't be held legely liable for a wrong guess. Secondley, there is no reprocussion from the fan base, becasue no matter how much they piss them off, they are STILL going to by their game... And you KNOW it. Some may priate, but 98% of people who are here crying like children will STILL be first in line to buy TSL DISPITE the fact they say they won't, and LA knows it. Now don't get me wrong, i personally feel you have a right to complain when you got shafted... AND COMPLAIN YOU DID. Heck, there were dozens of locked threads, 2 HUGE offical CRY threads, changed sigs, calling for boycotts. It was all good, but NOW you have perfectly good threads being deraild by these crybaby antics... it's went from understandable complaining, to pethitic and annoying crying. Heh. It's sad really. I guess it's all this time I've put into MMO's over the years that's hardend me to the fact that companys can't keep there proames. I got upset before, but now, it's old hat. You PC gamers KNOW your the low end of the market. You've KNOWN it for years. (I'm also a PC gamers, but i have my concals too... so just refer to me as a GAMER. LOL) YOU KNOW you ALWAYS get the games AFTER the conseals. It's EXTREAMLY RARE that you DON'T, unless it's PC exclusive. Nothing new here. It's stats quoe. LA lied to you? *GASP* You mean... you've never been lied to by a game company before? Never had a game pushed back before? Promisises broken? You guys must not ever play MMO's... you can't trust a blasted thing any devs tells you EVER in them things... You acting like drama queens here... And the fact is... LA hasn't delayed your game, they've pushed up there XBOX verson so it can have a Christmas relese. Which, as much as you HATE to admit it, is a smart business move... and LA is a business after all. One that just had some substantual layoffs and restructing... they prolly need a good showing for this Christmas season, esspeically if you want any hope at a KoToR 3 or 4 in the future... Yeah it sucks to be you... having to wait an extra 2 months while trying to avoid spoliers... but it's nothing you haven't done before, nor anything you won't have to do again. If you've been a PC gamer for a long time, this is NOTHING new. Disappointing, YES, new? Hell NO. And if you want to priate... well, that's your call... but i hope they drop the hammer on you guys. I remember reading somewhere that if the PC turns to the dark side some of the party members will follow him and turn to DS too... So originally he could have been neutral or light. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe. I have heard you can effect your teams allinement... but the PC and team mate are glowing Blue... which is light side... so... maybe he starts Dark and you can bring him into the light? KingSnake.

Them blades are pretty bad... I know. I buy them for Big Z and candoris. They chop stuff up man, but I think, the LightSaber with the mantel, Upria, and Solarous, are pretty much it as far as Jedi weapons go. 4-30, energy, 6Bab 8BBD, and a 2D6 VrS Dark Side...(standerd saber) And that's base, add in a +2 for lightsaber mastery, you str mode, mine is normally about 8 or so with Force Valor, and you have a 12-38 Vrs Normal mobs, and an unreal 14-50 vrs Dark Side, with a + 6 bab and extra Jedi Defence. Start Adding in stims, and it gets real sick real fast. Like i said eairly, i had a on top of the fact you can use your jedi skills, like force jump and Jedi Defence, stuff you give up with Bargrons blade. take that 12-38. Lets add Stims... what are the, like a +6 str,(+3 dmg) and +4+4 (bab Dmg) that's 19-46 or 21-58 DS Force Jump, is and extra.... +4 23-50 or 25-62 DS Avg that out to... ~36 vrs Normal Mobs ~43 Vrs DS With master Speed running... that 3 hits... SO, a powered up attack with that light saber + speed+jump = ~ 108 Dmg on Avg Vrs Normals. and nearly 130 Avg vrs the dark side. That's just a standerd single blade. A saber staff would be monsters. My fights with Malak are a Joke. I can't miss him if i wanted to. My Defence is hiting 40 easy. My BaB is 45 Plus, and I'm Swing that 19-46 saber at his head 4 times for an avg of 130 points of Damage a round. He hits ME for like, 7. It's hystarical. On Hard. Just shows who's the master and who's the apprentince huh? No way man, LightSabers all the way. KingSnake.

For me, it's a single saber... master Dueling. Master Saber. Master Flurry. Master Speed. Master Valor. That setup, plus a Mantel of the Force saber twicked out with a... Sigel and the light side stone, I'm able to kill just about anything in one round. two tops. I've taken out them baby rancors in one round on a fairly regular basis. (I used the above skill set with a scoundrel base, and killed EVERYTHING in one force jump. Sneak Attack 4 + force jump+Master Speed is sick...) When i fought malak this last time, i poped some stems, and had a base attack of 46, with a 20-50something saber damage range... Wiped him like a red headed step child. It was kind of sad how easy he was, considering I took the weaker combat skills (in the option of the vast majority, but not mine. LoL) and set the game to Hard. <_< I've tried saber staffs and double sabers... but i can't get into the char when i do... can't explain it... maybe it's my OCD. For me, single blade all the way, all the time. KingSnake.

Probably just like humans. We have different color eyes, ranging from blue, brown, green, etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And don't forget the dark side has an apperence altering effect on it's people. On humans it makes us more pale and sickly looking. Who's to say it doesn't effect other species in different ways? And besides, not EVERY on of them can look totally BAD @$$. Every Species has to have their dweebs. LOL KingSnake.

It might be pretty well know, to someone who's been paying attation... what part of "noob" don't you understand? <_< And if i recall correctly, Reven didn't know he'd been trained before now did he? Kind of had his memory wiped, remember? And yoda guy told him to take his time, not to rush, and learn, but yeah, i understand why he didn't go to a cave and spend a month constructing a new one, but still, more could have been done IMO. Harder to get. My little glow stick is one of the main reasons i love and play starwars games so much. I wish more attation was focused on them... customizible saber hilts would rule, but i think they've been ruled out for this game... BUT, at least tell me that getting your saber in this game is a bigger deal than the last... Last time, you answered a few questions, then built your saber in the enclave... which was kind of lame.. A jedi normally undergoes a quest to construst his / her saber. It's accually an important step in the life of a jedi. They normally travel great distinces to the planet these crystles are, and spend days, some even MONTHS building there saber. It's a big deal. and in the game, it didn't really feel like it was that "big" a deal to Reven... Also, i'd like the quest, if there is one, to revolve around the accually saber you'll end up using at the end... what i mean is, if your trained for 1 saber, you build one. IF your train for a staff or two, you make your weapon accordingly. I was kind of annoyed that I had to kill a sith and steal his weapon to have my own saber staff in KoToR...(yeah, i'm nitpicking) Also, any special crystles added, i'd ask plz that they don't effect the saber color... i kind of hated being locked into a set color if i wanted to build a truly bad @$$ saber... good think i like the Mantles color huh? LOL. Just random saber thoughts. Anyone here heard anything about this stuff yet? KingSnake.
