  1. Beck - The Information I prefer Guero though.
  2. I'll be 360ing it come May. Christ knows how they'll adapt the controls. Honestly, I don't care, I just want to see Kucan chew up the scenery yet again, god bless him.
  3. I'm a little surprised at the apathy, SA was a fun little sandbox game and you get to play a human trafficker in this one, what's not to like?
  4. The Ink Spots - Maybe
  5. Giving it a listen now. The first track, Black Mirror, really is something.
  6. Bowie - Queen Bitch I'm just going to go ahead and put this out there, I think Hunky Dory is his best album.
  7. Bennett is the Freddy Murcury, lead singer from Queen?!?! I cant believe Im just learning that. IIRC, Bennett was kinda buff in the movie and I thought Freddy was a frail-ish fellow. It was not Freddie Mercury. Vernon Wells also played bad guys in Mad Max 2, Weird Science and Innerspace. "I want to break free!" EDIT: According to his IMDb bio he refers to "Captain Bennett," his Commando (1985) character, as "Freddie Mercury on steroids."

Back to atease for me, I think. Tis not what it once was though, times, they have a changed. I used to be big man on campus, now I'm little Johnny Small-Fry.
  9. far better than the stoopid Nirvana version David Bowie - As the World Falls Down (from the Labyrinth Soundtrack) Gave As the World Falls Down an honorary listen due to the mention. I love that film.
  10. Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World
  11. Bowie - Heathen Not long after the lyric "I can feel it die" there is a dip that never fails to get me.

Finished Fortress of Solitude recently, good but not Lethem's best, tis no Motherless Brooklyn. Am currently rereading Are You Dave Gorman? What an adventure.
  13. Here's hoping Fable 2 learns from its predecessor's mistakes. The mutt companion Molyneux mentioned doesn't do much for me though.
  14. Commando! With Freddie Mercury as Bennett! Love the introduction, a moist Schwarzenegger manhandling plastic logs. That film is so homoerotic.
  15. Is this a snow shovel or a shovel of the regular variety? Because if hell is as I imagine it to be (i.e. like Glastonbury) mudslides are a very real possibility. I can't seem to play anything at the moment, I have no concentration. Right now Oblivion seems the gaming equivalent of the original Russian print version of War and Peace.
  16. Bowie - A New Career In A New Town I'm just going to go ahead AND put this out there, I think Low is his best album.
  17. Booyah! As you can see smiling doesn't quite seem to work. Also if you're wondering why I appear to be standing in some kind of vacuum, that's actually a pic from last weeks trip to purgatory.
  18. Hmm. Is that Beckinsale? I expected Beckinsale.
  19. Radiohead - National Anthem
  20. What a thread! I never really imagined any of you with faces... or if I did it was the same face for you all. I think, in my own special way, I've fallen in love with Drabek.
  21. I resized this. Retro!
  22. Making another gunlike gesture. You beat me to it! I was going to go for "stroking his gun" but I thought it too crude for high brow Obsidian.
  23. Arcade Fire - Une Ann
  24. You Americans and your guns and other military paraphernalia! Over here a simple gun gesture (if directed at the leader of the opposition) is newsworthy.
  25. How expensive were they, do you remember which model?
